I have owned this for nine months and used “ lightly”. It no longer works. Dealing with Samsung for something that’s under warranty is like pulling teeth. I have now been without a cooktop for almost 5 weeks. I have a service ticket - but can’t schedule an appointment with that company. Won’t return calls or emails. I will NEVER buy any thing Samsung again. I have had the Samsung refrigerator and was pleased so I bought the cooktop. Never again. Will I ever get this resolved? Who knows!

Unfortunately I found this product to be a bit restrictive regarding pan size. They say that the minimum size for the base of the pan is the same size as the ring around the cooking area. That is quite different than what the other brands I have looked at and from what I have read about the way induction actually works. I wish that had been made clear before I bought it and read the (very poor) manual. I have returned it and it is being replaced with one that works like an induction cooktop should. If you turn on one of the two left hand burners you cannot turn on the other. That makes no sense to me at all. What it means, however, is that you cannot use a griddle on it. It also cooked unevenly on a variety of skillets I tried to use for pancakes, not being able to use a griddle.

Really like the cooktop. Only downside is that if there is any water or mess on the cooktop, it won’t function.

Worth the wait and love the cooktop. The installer claimed it would not fit the opening, so I would rate Best Buy service on that side a zero. So we had to have it installed even though we pay annually for Best Buy to do things like that under our service plan.

Works as promised. Control panel is easy to understand!

I haven't use it yet because my house is been remodeled but, I can't wait to install it and use it. I love the look of it
