The sound doesn't seem as loud as could or should be. I have bought other tv in same price point but this tv is much better quality. A little confusing with having 2 separate controllers, 1 to turn on and adjust volume and other to change channels. I would rate this excellent but have had some difficulty with getting tv to turn off on 2 occasions, but that could have been user error.
