Definitely not a plug and play and walk away

Coming from a Vizio that dies after 3 years, this TV has a lot to offer. Very nice picture (actually amazing)especially once I put it in dynamic mode. Sound isn't great but more than adequate for the room size. If you are looking for a plug and play and walk away TV, this is not the one for you. The app is quite confusing (and I am not a novice) and took a couple hours to set up. The manual is also somewhat confusing and doesn't present a step by step approach to set up the television. For example, when turning on the TV you are presented with all your apps where I would rather it tuned on to the last app I used. It turned out there was a setting for that but it took a while to find it. Setting up the sound was also confusing with many of the options greyed out. Tried to put in on wall mount but when going through the questions and answers I found 2 different sizes listed. It turns out that depending on the size of the TV the screw sizes are different. The 32 inch takes M4-1.25 pitch. The remote is not at all intuitive. The apps load very quickly (much faster than the Visio with the Roku platform). I like the fact that the remote is rechargeable by either USB-C or light, Some no-so-good things are the lack of a mute button, a simple exit button to exit an app. Took a while to figure out that left and right buttons on the side of the center button are the fast forward and rewind for apps like prime and Netflix as I saw it no where in the manual. I found Alexa to be more of a problem than it is worth to control the tv. Will be curious to see how it holds up but all in all I like it!

We needed a new smart tv and went to the Best Buy closest to us. The representative indicated this model was at the top of the line for the size we needed. So, we purchased it and love it! It has been easy to set up and use. The picture is bright and wonderful in any light and the sound is even in live or wifi shows. Great purchase would definitely recommend!

This TV was kinda pricey, but has a great picture! I read a lot of reviews before settling on this one. I added the sound bar. Too bad more 4k movies aren’t available for free. The “magic wand” pointer remote might be good for some…not really a fan. My last TV was an LG, was still working fine when I gave it to a friend after 9 yrs.

I found this via a open box sale. Had to drive to get it but I'm not disappointed at all! The image is clearer and crisp, vibrant colors are plentiful! Loving this TV! I recommended it. Works well with Xbox Series X too!

This little Samsung Smart TV is just amazing. Absolutely satisfied with my purchase due to almost all other 32" TV's being 1080p, which is ok but nothing can really beat the clarity of the picture in 4k. Great little TV

I bought this TV because it was the only 32" television that had a 4K picture. And, I was not disappointed. The picture and color are amazing! I also wanted the streaming capabilities. The apps that came with the TV covered most of my streaming services, and I found it quite easy to add the one it didn't. The set connected to my WiFi quickly and easily. I had read quite a few reviews that complained of the sound quality. I have no idea what they were talking about. I found the sound excellent and plenty loud. I am extremely pleased with this set and so glad that I purchased it for my bedroom viewing, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a 4K TV.

So enjoyable and amazing picture. The sound is pretty good considering it’s the tv speakers. The remote oddly is one of the highlights. So much you can do with it. Very modern and ease of use.

Nice smaller TV for smaller spaces but a little pricey for its size. Color and sound are very good. Would like the brightness and sound adjustment to not be buried so deep in the menu.

Went with a geek squad refurb and what a great decision that was! The screen was in like-new condition. It works great, although it does flicker from time to time. It’s infrequent enough to determine a root cause. Was originally going for a 1080p tv at this size, but couldn’t find anything I liked. This has it all—right size, great screen, and 4K for when I’m ready for it. I was happy to see that, after plugging in my Sony sound bar into optical, the tv’s remote was able to control the sound bar volume. My Sony tv couldn’t even do that! The remote uses solar power to charge, which is awesome.

I like that this 32" panel can fit quite perfectly on a relatively fragile desktop designed for a 19" display 2. on the 2015 J5500 the colors popped on this, THEY POSITIVELY EXPLODE1!!!!!!!!! in a cascading kaleidoscope of color in variations beyond perception & imagination resulting in a splendidly spectacular sensual sensory experience, that's i'm sure is second to none! I also dig the selection of 15 streaming & cable options awating their puruse! Alas & regretfully, the weakest link is this BN59-01357F voice controlled remote consisting of 16 buttons linked to at least 3x the menu options, some of which are buried lower than pirate booty at Davy Jones locker! In addition, voice control is disconcerting in my opinion because that talking to oneself interned one in a local loony bin! therefore I'm skittish & skeezed about going there! as for the rationale towards saving the planet, i've been doing that since 2020 when I got tired of going thru conventional Eveready Lithium cells every two weeks by investing my cash in a cache of Nickel Hydride AA & AAA batteries, the most advanced, Panasonic Enerloops can be charged/discharged 2,000 times & just in case devices are the el exigente type requiring only 1.5v or bupkis, I also have rechargable Lithium AA & AAA in my stash as well! then there fact that this set is devoid of buttons to countermand the remote manually incase there are issues causing the owner/operator to correct it! About the only good thing going for this remote is that it seems to be fabbed from aluminum vs. plastic! which is precisely the reason why I docked the panel 1. star which is why I'm shopping around for the BN59-1315J which ran these TV before the concept on a voice remote was a gleaming lighbulb deep inside the brain trusts of the ergonomic engineers. the remote control kerfuffle withstanding is not a deal slayer. because I'd still break the bank anew because this display is all that was ballyhooed to be!

When my sweet 2009 Samsung LCD TV finally started failing to power on, I knew it was time. But what could take it's place? After calling Samsung directly, they recommended this model, and boy were they right! The best TV I've ever owned. SHARP picture and VIVID colors, plus a very cool solar/USB remote (there are no numbers on it, but it's very easy to learn). The size fits perfectly into my media wall and is just beautiful as well as functional. Total winner!

This TV comes with the worst remote in the history of TV remotes. No numeric keypad so good luck getting to channel 768. No “Settings” button. “Solar” charger but don’t expose to sunlight. TV has great picture but the remote completely offsets that. Also during initial setup they try to extract information like an email address. Don’t fall for that. You do NOT have to “register” the TV to activate the warranty. Also no HDR or Dolby Vision. Way WAY overpriced. No.

We have a cabinet in our breakfast area that needed a 32-inch TV. We tried several TVs over the course of a few months, but had issues with most of them. This Samsung Q60A Series was a winner. The picture is excellent, the sound is decent, and the electronics seem solid. We had tried a 5400 Series Samsung previously and while the picture was great, we had problems ( like many others had reported) with the TV needing to be unplugged and rebooted frequently. No problems with this one. We are using a soundbar but the built-in sound is not too bad. The stand is sturdier than the other TVs we tried. One thing to note-the remote is minimal and has no keypad to punch in channels so that takes some getting used to as the interface is all on the screen. Also it is solar, so there are no batteries. That said, you will want to store it in a place where it can get some light to recharge and place it face down so the solar panel is exposed. It can be charged via USB if necessary. Although this is more TV than we need for this breakfast room, it works! All in all, we are happy with our purchase.

A good enough TV but the automatic brightness adjustment feature doesn’t work at all. Samsung couldn’t give me a good reason why. I bought the 32 inch model. The CPU is weaker in the 32 inch so i would recommend a bigger screen if your getting a Q60A. I only purchased it because I only needed a 32 inch and this was the only 32 inch 4K TV available right now. Of course, two weeks after I purchase it BestBuy drop the price by $30 but it is an older model at this point.
