Hi ROGERS,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear your Q8F TV is turning on and off unexpectedly. This kind of power cycling can often be resolved with a few troubleshooting steps:
1. Check the power cable for secure connection and signs of damage. If it’s bent, pinched, pressed by furniture, or shows wear, replacing it may resolve the issue. 2. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and test operation. 3. Update the TV’s software (if the TV remains on long enough). Note that a power interruption during an update can cause further issues, so only proceed if the TV is staying on reliably. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 4. If your TV is connected to SmartThings, it may be turning on from a signal sent through the network. You can disable this feature by going to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile = Off
If none of these steps resolve the issue, your TV may need service. Please give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available at the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Fantastic colors and picture on this 32" QLED. Full area local dimming is evident. Blacks are black. TV supports HDR 10+.
Great choice for a small size set. Fits in small spaces.

5 star TV with 3 star VESA mount position.

A couple of days before purchasing this, I had bought a Samsung 32" M70F 4K UHD Smart Monitor. I ended up replacing that with this one.
I wanted this for my home office, due to limited space and layout, I was restricted to a 32" TV, which limited my options. Had I not had this limitation, I would have gone with a much cheaper 43" TV.
This TV is sold at a premium price given its size. The picture quality is excellent, with one concern: the brightness is maxed out at 50, and it needs to be a little brighter.
The screen is glossy in a nice, eye-pleasing way, and the colors are saturated. I give the screen 4.5 stars, a half-star reduction for brightness.
Where this TV shines, especially for its size, is the sound, which is rich and punchy. If you read my review of the Samsung 32" M70F 4K, that was thin and tinny sounding.
Sound is five stars
This unit has both LAN and wifi, I prefer a LAN connection.
Overall, I think this TV is worth 4.5 to 5 stars. If you plan to use the TV stand, I would have given it that rating.
So, why the three stars? The loss of 2 stars is due to the VESA mount. The VESA mount is at the top of the TV, not the center. What were you thinking? Every other TV is centered. This is a massive engineering failure.
I have an existing wall mount, and now the TV sits too low. I'm not putting more holes in my wall, so the mount is not moving. I have ordered an adaptor, which should allow me to move the TV up We will see when that arrives.
VESA mount screws;
I have mounted numerous monitors and TVs, and most of the screw lengths are between 12 and 16 mm. The ones required for this are between 19-22mm. Such an odd size, they should have been provided. I had to go to a big box store late at night and buy 25mm with washers to pad the mount. The cost of these parts was ridiculously expensive. Providing these would have been simple and a great customer experience.
However, Samsung, I can not forgive you for the VESA mount position.

TV stand w. wrong & mount holes not VESA compliant

I just bought this after carefully checking the dimensions and measuring my furniture to make sure it would fit, and then it wouldn't fit it on my furniture that was 24 inches because the product description claimed the tv stand leg width for the 32 inch TV was 22.8 inches width, and when I got it home, it turned out to actually be 25.5 inches and won't fit. To make matters worse, I overnighted a VESA compliant universal TV stand to use with wall mount that was supposed to then be able to be on a center stand, and the stand was supposed to work with all VESA compliant tv's but then I discovered after getting the wall stand, that it was NOT VESA compliant either. The bolt holes on back are about 105x105 mm instead of 100x100 mm. It has been such a nightmare that I've decided to just return it without even turning it on. Very disappointed that the product information I detrimentally relied on to make it fit in my home, was wrong and I cannot even remedy it so it's going back in the box and being returned.

Hi Justme,
We're sorry to hear that your experience with the Q8F TV led to a return. Your feedback matters to us and will be shared with our product team.
For future reference, the 32" Q8F does feature VESA support (100mm x 100mm). Additionally, the leg width of the 32” Q8F is 22.8”. We have been working with the relevant teams to get this updated.

Great TV/Monitor

I don’t mind to leave bad reviews if they are warranted. At times they are. I had a 5 year old 32” Samsung TV and was mounted above my dual display to have an Excel spreadsheet present at all times. It worked but wanted higher definition/resolution. This TV did it for me. I use OTA and thus is limited in what it can do. Swapping it out was easy. Cat6, RG6, two HDMI’s and the audio optical fiber. I refuse to pay big bucks for some mount and simply use a 1 by 6 strip of wood screwed into two studs with sheetrock screws and two little 90-degree brackets for $3.24. The spacing was the same as the old monitor 100mm and hung it up. The sound is from the optical cable to an Optical to RCA convertor to my sound card. Many video cards can drive 3 computer monitors. I like the remote and have the same with a few other TVs. You do not have to aim at the TV to use it, it does not use IR. No batteries either. If need be, you can charge it with USB C, although I never had to with the other ones. Ethernet and Wi-Fi were easy to setup. Although this device is the furthest away from my AP it worked well. There is an app to set it up but you never learn what the TV can do if you do not do it manually. Everything is in logical places. Happy with the purchase.
