Great TV if you can get a good discount.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace an old Samsung LCD 32" in a bedroom. Pros: - Sits completely flat against the wall so there's no more of the screaming "I'm a TV!" - Picture looks great even though it's not a 4k. At this size screen, you can't even tell the difference anyway. - The One Connect box makes it a breeze to add/change components and minimizes cable clutter. No more squeezing your hand behind a mounted TV and blindly trying to plug the cable in. - Simplified TV remote with minimal buttons. Cons: - No invisible cable. I'm going to put other photos around it to try and hide it, but it's not a deal breaker for me. - Installation kit does not include drywall anchors so I had to go buy toggle bolts. The anchors included are for concrete/brick. - Setup had many issues. It wouldn't download the Terms & Conditions which is required for you to use any of the apps. I finally did a factory reset and was able to complete the setup. - TV requires you to be logged into your Samsung account to download/install any apps, including Netflix and Amazon Prime, which already have their own buttons on the remote. You can at least leave the TV logged into Samsung to avoid this later. - Remote buttons are not backlit, but I think with continued use you'd remember where the buttons are by feel. Overall, most of my gripes are with the install/setup process. Now that the TV is done there haven't been any complaints other than occasional WiFi connection issues where it's slow to load (didn't have that with our FruitTV in the same location). Finally, I purchased the TV directly from Samsung in order to receive a substantial discount. Honestly, if it weren't for the discount, I wouldn't have purchased this TV as it's not worth the retail price.

Posted .Hello Curious,
Thank you for purchasing The Frame 32" TV and for your review. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the image quality of your new TV. We appreciate your feedback on the setup process and your TV and the design of the One Connect Cable, as well as the wall mount hardware and remote included with your TV.
A network issue may be the cause of the occasional Wi-Fi issues you are experiencing. You may want to go through these steps to check your network connection:
1) Make sure that no items that can generate electromagnetic interferences are placed between the TV and the wireless/wired access point.
2) Check if the access point is turned on. If it is on, turn it off, wait 1 or 2 minutes, and then turn it on. Enter the correct password if required.
3) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.
4) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test
5) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

Not a Real Matted Insert.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The images is decieving. The mat insert would make this look more like a frame if the insert was real but it's only part of the video and not available on most images. I bought the optional frame attachment thinking it would make this look more like a picture frame. It would if the frame attachment included a real insert. This looks more like a digita picture frame and nobody is believing its a real picture frame. For the price, just get a better quality TV.

Pricey and not actually as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv requires expensive installation by multiple trades people. Very difficult to get the cords truly hidden comes with external box that must be hidden inside the wall. It’s Wasn’t something the geek squad was about to do, even though they will recommend and still accept payment for their most expensive “professional install”. two moths later I’m still waiting for my electrician and an tech guy to install it. Can’t speak to the quality of the actual tv, yet…

Posted .SFAO,
I apologize for the disappointment you have had wiht your The Frame TV losing picture.
Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue:
1. Press the Home (Menu) button on the remote.
If the menu appears, the TV is powered on, but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal.
If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues.
Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power).
2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device.
For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1.
If the TV is set to the correct source, but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time, from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced.
After you've reconnected the external device, turn it off and then back on.
3. Test the HDMI cable.
Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test, or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step.
The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords.
To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test.
If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required.
4. Test different external devices.
The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port. If you were unable to test the cable in the previous step, then try swapping the cable, too.
If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it.
I hope this helps to solve your concerns.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Frame TV and for your review. Your thoughts regarding the One Connect Box are important to us and will be shared with our internal teams.
With One Invisible Connection cable, the One Connect box allows you to connect your cable or satellite box or video game system to your TV without having all the messy black wires dangling from the TV. This thin and clear cable is connected to the One Connect box, which can be hidden from view, making it feel like there is no cable at all. We appreciate your thoughts on this feature and will share your feedback with our teams.

Posted .Marwalk,
Thank you for sharing your experience with The Frame TV. If your TV has a black screen even when it's on, it's quite possible it could actually be your external device and not your TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue:
1. Check the One Connect cable for damage and solid connection. Disconnect and firmly reconnect the One Connect cable at both ends.
Note: If the One Connect cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, or has a heavy object on top of it, it can cause an issue. The cable needs to be replaced if damaged.
2. Disconnect the One Connect Box (either by disconnecting its power cord, or the One Connect cable) to see if the TV displays an error message.
If you see anything (like a message or picture) on the TV after disconnecting the One Connect Box, the One Connect Box needs to be replaced.
If the TV is plugged into a wall outlet, turned on, and disconnected from the One Connect Box, but no message appears, your TV will need service.
3. Press the Home button on the remote.
4. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device.

After you've reconnected the external device, turn it off and then back on.

Don't buy the 32 or the 2021 models at all
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've installed many frame TVs...the 32 is a big letdown. Resolution is not as good. Cable is not the same (fat and not invisible), the remote it not the same as the other models (they have the solar remotes, this comes with the old style remote). For what they charge for a 32 I'm not really sure what extra you're getting other than the shape...you can have any framing shop make a frame for you (not cheapo plastic either) on any thin tv of your choice with better quality and still cost less...I'm disappointed... And the top it all off, the 2021 models have this stupid logo/ir receiver that sticks out the side that makes it look obviously NOT like a frame anymore
