Had no idea it would be so difficult to balance & keep from falling over. Quality of picture is excellent but would have gone with a different one had I realized it was too heavy and the pedestal was so awkward to use. Mounting would be better I suppose but not what I wanted. The lack of balance is dangerous. Also adjustments are not easy. Disappointed.

However, the display port connection with HP laptop cube is intermittent. About once per hour, the screen was blank out to Black and then come back in less than a second. Although intermittent, it was very repeatable. Even after talking with Samsung, technical support and resetting the monitor, it still occurred. And even after sending it into Samsung for service, they sent back the same monitor again, and the problem still persisted. As soon as I switch to an HDMI cable then the intermittent blackout was resolved. It is a bit limited with maximum 1920 x 1280 resolution.

Not the best, as the highest resolution on the monitor is 1980x1040. It does not have HDR available. If I could, I would return it for a better monitor. However, I have a high end video card, so it should be running higher resolution.

I was really impressed with the price-to-quality ratio on this. The screen is stellar, the curved monitor gives such an immersive experience. Wish: The one thing that I have not yet figured out was how to mount the monitor to increase my desk space.

I can have 2 or more windows open at the same time. I look at maps and looking at them with a curved screen is insane! I highly recommend.

I enjoy using this monitor with my M1 MacBook Air. I had difficulties with the stand initially, but I used a screwdriver to tighten the base to the arm/stand. The instructions don’t mention using a screwdriver, but using one was the only way to stop the monitor from tipping over and possibly breaking. Aside from the one hiccup, I’d definitely recommend!!

Other than the stand though I love it.
