Seeing this flashy behavior, I was really surprised this screen was from Samsung! Also, I was told at the store that the brightness was 850 nits, but it turned out to be 350 nits. It's probably good that it was only 350 nits because the screen flashing would have been much worse it it was even brighter.

The bottom of the monitor would be a light gray and the top would be a dark gray and neither appeared black. It would be one thing if the colors were just off, but to have a fade from bottom to top was just too distracting.

At max resolution, the icons that are tiny on the laptop screen are just perfect. I haven't tested gaming yet, but I really just wanted a larger 4K monitor and at the price and quality, it's great

It's not as good as my previous Acer Predator 27 IPS 165hz 0.5ms monitor, but that thing quick working after 3 years so I had to find a replacement quick. I am hoping this monitor last's longer. It is a little difficult to find a good picture setting for this screen. If anyone can share their preferred settings, please post it. I'll update overtime with the performance of the monitor, but for $190 for an excellent open box. I'm happy with it so far. I did get the 4 year coverage just in case anything goes wrong. It's been 1 day so far that i've had it.
