I updated to this monitor from an old 27" Asus Monitor. Am running a Radon RX 580 Graphics card. I have worked over 30 years as a programmer before I retired. Now I game a lot, Skyrim SE in particular. It's like playing a new game with this new monitor. Sharper images faster ect. Sure there may be better Monitors out there but not at this price. As for looking at the screen from an angle? Who does that? anyway I sit at my desk and look right at the screen. No dead pixels, some ghosting in the corners on a completely black screen again not a real issue in the long run Only up/down angle adjustments true but not an issue for me. Being retired, was a great investment without spending a ton of money I did have to update my Graphic card driver Very excited with this purchase

I'm giving it 5 stars because it performs well, has a good size screen and is priced right. I'm not a very demanding user and use the monitor mainly for such things as spreadsheets, word processing, and internet. I don't use it for gaming or videos. For my applications, the monitor performs very well. I've only had it about a month. So far, there have been no problems. Setup was easy too. The monitor has an combined on/off and screen-control button. The button is located on the back of monitor at the bottom right side (right side when viewing screen). It works well and hasn't been a problem but I am concerned that it feels a little flimsy. Depending on where you place the monitor, the button might also be hard to reach. With my setup, it hasn't been a problem for me.

A great monitor for watching movies and shows in UHD and is big enough to multitask without a dual monitor setup. Beware the inputs are not the same quality, so if you are experiencing a low resolution/refresh rate you likely need to switch your cable to the other input. This is not a big deal if you are only connecting to one device, but if you have multiple (PC+PS4 for example) you will not be able to have everything plugged in to the monitor at 4k resolution. There are no speakers in this monitor but it does have volume controls and audio passthrough.

Not perfect usability but monitor is outstanding although a bit pricey. Menu's are not user friendly, but that should only be a one-time issue. HDMI connection is also less than ideal, but again a one-time event. Love the size, resolution & overall quality.

I bought this display mostly as a second display for my MacBook Pro - 15 inch 2015 model. (I did a TON of research before choosing this TV, including consulting with several trusted retailers, and well-known online independent product review websites.) I will say that as soon as I set this display up, I was a disappointed at the low resolution compared to what I had expected out of a 4K monitor. My Macintosh pages and windows seemed a little fuzzy and old-school-looking at first. But I realized that I was using the wrong display settings. If you set this monitor up by just plugging & playing, you’ll get the same resolution as your Mac. In other words, it‘a as though you take your 15 inch Mac screen, and just blow it up to six times the size. Of course this would look fuzzy. But after consulting with Apple, I realized 1: this display works best using a straight HDMI to HDMI cable. Because when I first used a thunderbolt to HDMI, you DO NOT GET full access to the display preferences to adjust resolution. 2: once you’re in display preferences, using HDMI to HDMI, just set it for the sharpest text setting. Please note that this will make everything appear smaller on the screen, but it’s actually the same physical size that it would’ve been on your Mac. However it is only this setting that gives you the HIGHEST and BEST resolution. Once I worked through all that, I actually really LOVE THIS DISPLAY! It took a week or so to realize how great it is to have this much display real estate. So now I am able to spread many windows all over the screen in different places. I also use this on a flexible articulating monitor arm. I found the AVLT Brand to be the best arm. For me, this is really essential, because I can move the display up and away from me, high up against the wall for watching TV programming etc., but then pull it closer to me anywhere I want when doing business or office work. Please note, there is NO REMOTE included with this display, nor is there an aftermarket one available. This could be a dealbreaker for some people. If you really feel you need a remote, you might want to consider getting a standard LCD television style monitor, which would have TV features and remote. But most experts assured me that if computer use was my primary purpose for this display, a true computer monitor is the best way to go, and gives the best Resolution, plus, due to the refresh rate and some other technical things, it’s the easiest on your eyes for extended use.

Probably one of the better 32 inch 4 Monitors today. Pros: Plenty of screen estate with 32 inches I tried 4k Gaming on my Asus A15, it actually looked decent Cons: Viewing angles. The colors seem to degrade at an angle. Gray uniformity isn't the best, but how often are we going to be looking at a full gray screen. HDMI is limited to 4k 30hz...Why Samsung?? Why? HDMI 2 is the only port that can do 4k 60hz. It's a freesync monitor, but I could be wrong, but it is Gsync compatible. In the end, would I recommend this? At full price for about 400, no, but if it's on sale, yes. I also purchased the 4 year protection warranty, in case a dead pixel forms or what not.

I purchased this to go with my new Mac Mini M1. It works exceptionally well. I actually never used Picture-in-Picture before on a computer setup and decided to give it a shot with my work computer, such an excellent feature. I will give a shoutout to Logitech's MX Keys, not only is it more comfortable than the Apple Magic keyboard, but the simplicity to switch between the Mac Mini and my work laptop at just a push of a button makes it awesome too. Back to the monitor.... amazing colors, great size, and even better price! Is it the best 4k monitor out there? Of course not. Does it do the job for your everyday user, 1,000,0000% yes!

The good part: The resolution is really good. The big screen is really helpful for coding. I could have half of the screen for my emails and half of the screen for something else. No more staring at a little screen. It definitely makes my work more efficient. The not so good part: Since the screen is so big, it gets really bright when the background is white, especially at night. My eyes are pretty sensitive, lowering the brightness did not resolve the problem completely. Dark mode solves the problem, which is available in some applications. This big screen looks really cool in dark mode and makes it a lot easier for my eyes. Overall I am very happy about this monitor.

I remember going to the best buy store admiring this monitor. I found the viewing angles quite impressive and the color representation to be excellent. I was surprised it was a VA panel actually. I've heard all sorts of bad about VA panels and would champion IPS panels. Both my Sony big screen TVs are IPS panels which is why I'd never even considered getting a VA panel, so I initially did a hard pass on this monitor... And wound up buying an LG 27 inch IPS monitor with 1440p resolution. The viewing angles were so horrendous and this was a $500 monitor at lesser resolution? I found the screen so washed out and light bleed in the corner that gave the monitor a really noticeable purple color...it was a awful. The viewing angles were so awful as well...I was wishing Sony made ips pc monitors... I then went back and bought this samsung monitor and could not be happier. Viewing angles are excellent and the colors are great. It does not have freesync or gsync which can be an issue if you are a gamer and desire more than 60fps in games. The monitor will be prone to screen tear if you game without vsync turned on in game or in your graphics card settings. Not an issue with me when gaming as I am perfectly fine with locking the fps to a smooth 60 fps. Note you will typically need a very good graphics card to maintain 60fps in a demanding game on a 4k monitor...something in the realm of a RTX 3070 video card and up. I have gamed on this and games look great on the PC and on the PS5. At this price for a 4k monitor you really can't ding it for not having gsync or freesync. The only thing I would ding this for is when you have a white background the screen coating makes it appear to have a pinkish tint to it depending how you are looking at the screen. Not a huge deal for me any way. I would give it 4.5 stars for this issue. The monitor really is a great deal for the price and would highly recommend it if you want a 4k pc monitor in the $300-400 category.

I purchased this monitor for the 4K and I have to dash that I am very satisfied with my purchase. This is the best option to an IPS 4K monitor. The one down side is that the monitor does need to be calibrated to get the most accurate color reproduction. This is now a gaming monitor but if you are into photo and video editing (non-professional) and have a computer that is capable of handling 4K content this is a great purchase for the money. Viewing 4K content has been flawless. Note: If you are using HDMI 30hz (HDMI 1) connection and 60hz (HDMI 2) connection and using the Display Port connection. Now go and purchase this monitor!

Overall, I've been really happy with the monitor. I bought this monitor because I'm working from home and was just getting tired of using my laptop for everything. I don't do anything too intensive, just watching YouTube, Netflix and occasionally doing some light photo editing. For all of those purposes, it's more than adequate. The only negatives are that at extreme angles the screen does look washed out and maybe by current year standards, it's not the sleekest and most elegant design, but at this pricepoint, those things don't bother me too much.

A nice 32" 4K monitor by Samsung. I've always liked the picture quality of Samsung products and this monitor is no exception. But at it's low price point for a 4K of this size something must be sacrificed and it is the refresh rate . At the highest picture resolutions the refresh rate is limited to 30 Hz and 60 Hz at lower non 4K resolutions. Granted for normal use this probably wont be an issue. But gamers may not like the loss of video quality of some newer games at 30 Hz. You cant have it all at this price but you will get a quality everyday use 4K monitor.

For office work this monitor is excellent you get a lot of real state for side by side windows, so you can multitask in one monitor, is handy if you need to compare picture or information or simply have data available for a secondary window, now if you get dual monitors and you need more windows open, two of this, or put it simply two 32 inch monitors side by side is the way to go. Highly recommended, gaming looks great, the only downside is that is only 60 hz panel.

I bought this monitor to work from home. I have it attached to iMac using a USB-C to Displayport. I would have given this monitor five stars but I had to purchase a new cable to achieve the 60 Hz. When I used a USB-C to HDMI, I noticed that the screen was lagging so I pulled up the information window on the Samsung menu and it said 30Hz. Pros: Color is good (after calibration), brightness is good, overall price point for this is appropriate. Cons: Menu button can be rather finicky. Must use Displayport input to see 60 Hz (with a Mac).

The controls for calibration are lacking. As a result, the red in RGB is over-saturated, but overall I was able to get a good picture. At this size, it's even doubled as a TV replacement in a pinch for a few days (as long as you use external speakers - no speakers on the monitor). Very easy to put together and to connect to PC or AVR with an HDMI cable. I use it for 1080P, so I can't comment on its 4K capabilities. I do wish it had an ability to adjust the backlight in order to ratchet down the display lumens, but nothing is perfect.

This is a great monitor. It has incredible resolution. I generally use 2560 x 1440 resolution although the monitor will handle higher resolutions. For fairly complex word processing, 2560 x 1440 is totally awesome. The monitor is also great for watching movies. I bought the 4 year protection / replacement plan. It was relatively inexpensive. These big, high resolution monitors do have a reputation for power supply capacitors going bad although I have never had a Samsung product fail for bad power supplies. I would definitely recommend this product.

The way it is held up by the plastic stand is a bit wobbly, but as long as you don’t bump it, it’s fine. The color adjustment knob feels cheap and takes getting used to navigating, but I did get the color to match my laptop. The screen itself is great and I’m really enjoying the extra space to work with.
