We recently purchased the Samsung 34” Odyssey G5 1000R Curved Gaming Monitor, and it has exceeded our expectations in every way. The picture is incredibly clear, making everything look crisp and vibrant. The 34” width is perfect, providing an immersive experience without feeling overwhelming. The refresh rate of 165Hz ensures smooth gameplay, and the 1ms response time makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced games. The quality of this monitor is truly amazing. Great specs for gaming. Got “open box Excellent” and it was perfect and saved $200. Wide and curved is perfect for gaming Samsung has been my choice for over 25 years.

Great picture. The curve is really comfortable on your eyes. Haven’t had any issues with any of the games I play. The stand is very cheap and flimsy. The button takes some getting used to and accessing the ports on the back with this flimsy stand is a bit precarious at best. Overall not a bad gaming monitor.

Great screen to use as a second monitor for work. Allows for numerous documents to be open at the same time with the ability to see them. My only dislike per se is the toggle on the bottom of the screen to turn screen on and off and to make screen adjustments. I also haven't figured out how to move the screen up or down for better viewing depending on where I am sitting.

Great screen. I use it for racing games. Love it. No speakers and only two ports one hdmi and dp. If you can live with that, and get it on sale, its great.

Bought this for its curvature (1000R). It's not used for playing fast motion games but for work, so I can't speak for that. The scrolling text (spreadsheet, browsers) are visibly smoother than a 60Hz monitor. Text are also sharp and color is good. I used a wall mount for the monitor, as I wanted to have clearance under not taking up by the included stand. Ran into an issue of monitor couldn't power / resume after going into sleep (removed laptop). Took many tries over couple of hours, but end it up able to get display showing after unplugging for more than couple of minutes and click the "joystick" twice. Manual said only click once.

This is my first curved monitor and now I think I want another one to give the full wrap around view. The screen quality is excellent and 165 Hz is great for gaming. Love the joystick menu system, very easy to navigate when changing from PC to laptop for work.

We love our Samsung 34” Odyssey G5 1000R Curved 1ms 165Hz QHD Free Sync Prem Gaming Monitor. We always go to best Buy. we were able to get the Opened Box price and added a 4 Year warrantee on it for cheaper than the sale price. No where else can you receive such an awesome deal.

I love Ultrawides, even over a 4k display. The stand sucks and the HDR is a joke. The picture is great and I like the 165hrz. But there are other Ultrawide displays that are $100 cheaper and are just as good. I sold mine and got the Asus Tuf 34" for $499.

The monitor itself is excellent and has a pretty nice image. The stand is not the best. For the price the size and the 165Hz is nice.

A fantastic monitor. I’m able to do my school work on one screen with the option to use it as two monitors and am able to play video games without any issues and a great picture.

These were larger than I was thinking but they have worked great for what I was going for when making this purchase. I am very pleased with the two I bought as they function to give me....what effectively is......an extra 4 to 6 screens because they are wide enough for me to use each one like it is 2 to 3 screen. Love the increase in my productivity since I have less time spent bringing other things to the front as I can have more things in sight at all times while completing tasks.

Plug and play. Very nice picture and I definetely notice the improvment from my old HD only monitor. Great for both work and play, only issue is theres only one HDMI port. Had to get a switcher but other than that I like it alot! Highly recomend for a budget ultrawide!

I purchased this for my son for gaming use. Gave him a wider view, bigger view and better graphics. I use it for work and I love it. I am able view multiple screens/documents without having multiple screens that would have taken up too much space on my desk.

Bought mine open box, and it is flawless. No scratches or dead pixles at all. The monitor itself is exactly what you would expect in it's price point, crisp clean visuals and high quality materials. I would say the price point is high, which is why I bought mine open box, but if you do a lot of tasks that an ultra wide would benefit, this is a good option. The only gripe I have is that it is so expensive. There are plenty of other ultra wides that would serve the same function for less. The price does get you the 165 frames that you want when gaming, and the screen does get brighter than necessary, while giving good contrast with the hdr. Overall would not buy again, but not regretting my purchase at all.

I purchased this 34-inch Samsung curved monitor mainly for work and general use, and it has exceeded my expectations. The ultrawide size makes a huge difference, allowing me to comfortably work with multiple windows open at the same time without needing a second monitor.
