The view on that screen is really wonderful for old people. We have had Apple in our home since back in early nineties. So we even brought our Grand Kids up using them since then. Apple just seems easier to us. Phones, IPads, lap tops and the big screens. Would not buy anything but Apple.

Admittedly, there are a few other ultrawide OLED monitors on the market that offer a higher refresh rate and response time, but after seeing them in person none of them compared to the Samsung G8 when it comes to screen contrast and vibrancy.

I also favored the 240 hz over the 175 for my 4080 super

Considering its price and features, I believe it represents a favorable purchase. However, the colors appear somewhat unsaturated upon initial setup, and a 240Hz refresh rate would have been preferable to the 175Hz offered.

Build quality is OK considering it aluminum. Everytime the screen is turned on, gamer mode pops up. It’s a smart TV and monitor. I just need a monitor. I returned to by the Alienware 34” ultra wide oled. It’s much better imo.
