After a few attempts I was finally able to get an undamaged version of the cooked top. Originally ordered October 2020, and after many attempts the new delivery came May 2021.

Great cook top

The grates a heavy duty & will not move around on you, unlike my Jenn-air. Great flame control and I’m looking forward to using a wok with the attachment. The griddle is heavy duty & I'm shying away from trying it, because I’m concerned on the clean up & how heavy it it. I’m sure pancakes would be a breeze.

It seems like the damage grate is coming from Samsung.

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never buy this Product - its horrible. all parts are not of stainless steel. and if you end up cleaning your cooktop with any grease remover - which I am sure many of us would do : the steel paint comes off. my product is still under warranty and the Samsung services teams says its a physical damage caused by the user - its interesting.. that i have bought a delicate cook top from Samsung which cannot be even cleaned.. what a horrible quality i am getting after paying 1300 $ ... most of you will repent buying this

Samsung has made a next level cooktop with this guy, excellent fire control and a burner grid that allows you to easily slide pots around. The burner knobs have a blue light when on which is great to always ensure the gas is off.

After 3 months of hiccups with Lowe's on our appliances, we gave up on them and reached out to Best Buy. We locked in our items and scheduling was easy for install. Installer did a great job installing everything for the new house!

It functions easily and is heavy duty and easy to operate. The coolest feature are the blue backlights that come on whenever you use it !!!!!! JUST AWESOME !!!!!!!!
