Bought this for my daughter to replace an old cooktop. Love the design which gives a lot of cooking surface. One neat feature is that there is a light that illuminates around the knobs to indicate that the flame is on. Also like the varying levels of heat on each burner.
Samsung is thrilled to be part of your family, JudyfromCalifornia! And we're even more delighted that you and your daughter love this cooktop so much. ^Jecca

Turns on easily. Also easy to assemble the cool part is the the light handles are blue.

This is a solidly built cooktop with heavy grates. The grates are very stable. The front controls prevent reaching over a burner to change a heat setting. The lighting function works well and the lights on the dials while gas is flowing (any on position) are a good safety reminder to turn off each burner when cooking s completed. Main burner is very powerful. Unit stands a little higher than the cooktop it replaced; pots still clear the overhead microwave fan. (Wi-fi capabilty not tested as I have no use for it.)

We have had this stovetop for about three weeks. So far it is excellent. And so much better than our old kitchenAid stove top even though it was top-of-the-line. It was very easy to install even though it was a little smaller than the Cut out.
Only thing that I can see was a problem with the stove top is the Wi-Fi capability. It is worthless and I removed it because it looked bad and who would want to operate a stove top from your Internet?

Love this stovetop except that it can’t connect to the Samsung hood! Every appliance we purchased has WiFi hookup etc but for some reason these two can’t connect . Other than that love it. The cast iron plate is awesome!

I bought this cooktop based on CR reviews and recommendations. So far so good. The fit and finish seem high end. Knobs feel sturdy and well made, and the blue hue it emits is a nice touch. I don’t think I would use the WiFi options to cook.

I love the unit, however one thing to know is the the bluetooth module on the back is removable. This was important as I really didn't need it and the unit didn't fit the cutout in my counter with in on.

Great Cooktop. SmartThing App Has Potential

Blue light control knobs are 5 start. Burners are 5 star. The griddle is 5 star. The wifi link to the SmartThings App is 2 star. The only thing the App tells you is that a burner is on. The App needs to control a smart device when a burner is on.

I like it a lot. Four of the five burners ignite perfectly. The center, larger burner, does not ignite as quickly as the other four. It is easy to keep clean. The grids are heavy, but very sturdy.

Great product and it looks good in our new kitchen. I'm not sure how often we will use the wi-fi feature as it only tells you which burner is currently on/off!
