    a little frustrating to turn it on- also turning the knob to raise or lower the heat is not very smooth- it jumps too far ahead or too slow at times. it can be confusing to operate.

    I researched a lot about the cooktop I wanted to buy for my kitchen remodel.. For my budget this was was the best value. When I went to the store to check it out, it met and exceeded all my expectations.

    Nice looking stove top, but have already called for service twice. Stove top seems to have a mind of its own (turns all burners off for no apparent reason, gives errors, etc.) and if you have any liquids that spill onto the stove top it freaks out and starts generating different error codes. I have a feeling that the electronics are faulty or are not properly shielded because why else would water or liquid on the top surface cause the electronics to freak out. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone and will not buy again. Thank god I purchased the 5 year protection plan.

      Hi there,
      I can help with this issue that you are having on your Samsung Cooktop. Always remember when something does spill on the cooktop you want to turn the burner off immediately and wait for the burner to cool and clean it. For more helpful information, See link below:

    Piece of crap! Bought 2 months ago, waiting for my kitchen update to be complete. Installed on 60th day from purchase . Does not work. Samsung service could not help us and best buy (who lost a customer wont refund exchange or offer a replacement. Absolutely run from this product. Best buy sucks also!

    I have been using this Cooktop for over a month now and the functions on this unit is very impressive. I love the Sync function that allows 2 left units to sync together so I can use a griddle. This was great for breakfast, which is one of my favorite meals. WiFi was great to stay connected and the melting feature was great for my queso recipe. Just the design itself made it easy to cook multiple dishes as I could adjust the size of some of the units to the correct pan.

    Unit sucks. It didnt work when i purchased but it was after the return window for bestbuy before I had it installed. Contacted samsung about it constatly turning off. They blamed it on cookware being noninduction. My cookware was induction. I thought maybe i need a different induction set so i bought Caraway induction set and it still has the same problem. Contacted Samsung to get the runaround before finally send a tech. Tech came out and confirmed the problem. They said they were going to repair the issue. That sucks since i bought a brand new unit... Didnt get a discount for buying a refurbished unit. However l, as of today it is still not repaired. I contacted Samsung in November about the problem.

    DO NOT Purchase Samsung Products!

    We have owned KitchenAid units for well over 20 years. Opted to purchase Samsung, liked the features etc. It is Garbage and they DON"T back up their prodcuts. Customer service is the WORST experience ever!! Stove top was defective and they REFUSE to back it up and we have only owned it for 3 months. Stay away.
