Make sure your pots have the rim around the bottom so they do not spin while you are cooking. I had to buy new pots. For the scratches you can use Magic glass cooktop daily cleaner or Magic glass cooktop cleaner and polish. Spray the daily cleaner let it sit for a few minutes, use a moist microfiber towel to wipe it down. The burners I used the first time I cooked had scratches due to my old pots. But once I started using the daily cleaner, the scratches are all gone. The stove is beautiful. I am pleased with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friendheats up fine, but knobs keep breaking

It's really hard to turn a few of the top knobs and it breaks. Not worth it if you keep having to buy replacement knobs at over $100 a piece.

In time, it wont work

Samsung is impossible to deal with for service. Pretty frusterating when you have over $10k worth of appliances from them in your home and this is the 3rd appliance to have problems.

When cleaning the knobs on your cooktop, make sure to re-attach them in the correct orientation for best results.
