Love this cooktop

The dial is so unresponsive, 50 percent of the time it goes up by itself two notches after you've stopped at a desired temperature, sometimes down three so it takes 3 times as long to set the temperature you want. During Thanksgiving we had a ton of food we kept in tray and we wanted to keep, well dont forget this cooktop will NOT turn on unless it detects a pan/pot its compatible with. For looks was nice but im seriously thinking about installing a gas cooktop. I read the reviews and i still fell for it.

Need 50 amp circuit and 6 guage wire.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be aware that while says on site in questions and answers can install with 40 amp circuit and 8 gauge wire in reality needs 50 amp circuit and 6 gauge wire. Had to hire electrician FOR $$$ to run new line and install 50 amp circuit breaker. Best Buy was not helpful at all and said what was on their site regarding the amps and wire gauge was not their responsibility although no disclaimer regarding this on the site. I was stuck as took out old cook top before this one was delivered. Cook top works great now that have proper wiring.

The lights probably only look good on stainless steel pans (ours are dark). I have to say that we are underwhelmed. A lot of money for a lot of problems. TV dinners for now.

We bought this cooktop because of the features however the cooktop was defective. Samsung does not stand behind their products and customer service is trash. I would not recommend this product or any product that utilizes Samsung customer service.

Noisy

It does hear well and fast. But the noise drives me crazy. Will replace after remodel is complete. To eat $2500 on a brand new cooktop is worth it.

Samsung induction cooktop
