Easy setup to use as standard sound bar, was a little tricky getting it connected to my smartthings app but finally did. Sound is great especially with the optional rear kit.

I’m not sure why this soundbar at has so many negative reviews, but it’s been great for me. The salesman showed me this one on display and I loved it! I mentioned that my main focus is bass because I listen to music a lot and majority of the movies and shows I watch have plenty action. I didn’t want that to overpower the dialogue though and most importantly.... I didn’t want the hassle of extra speakers and woofers since this is only for my room in my apartment. Oddly enough, the salesman suggested the 2.1 soundbar because of the huge price difference and I guess it sells more. I couldn’t bring myself to buy it though because I had already heard this one and I wasn’t trying buy the cheaper one just to go back and trade (always go with your 1st choice) Yea it’s a lil pricey, even on sale and that’s why I gave it 4 stars but other than that it’s been just fine for me. I have a 7 series 55 inch and the soundbar paired automatically with my tv/remote so that’s a plus, I haven’t experienced any lagging yet and it sounds good even at a lower volumes. I don’t use Alexa or care too much for voice controls. I also have mine connected with the HDMI cord it came with, but it works fine with Bluetooth off my phone. My only suggestion would be to add better options on the remote so that it’s easier to see what you’re doing as far as switching the modes go.

For the money, this bar has some pretty great qualities going for it. Its great looking, clear sound for tv and some music, and the Samsung smart things app really helps out for customization on the EQ settings. It doesn't have Dolby Atoms or DTS Virtual X but its not a deal breaker for me. You can buy the wireless sub separate but it still sounds great without it.

Where do I start...first of all this soundbar sounds and looks really good. I got this to use in the bedroom because of the size and fits a 55 inch tv perfectly. I would not really get it for a living room because I think it would not sound loud or good enough for larger rooms. I also noticed that when listening to music, it sounds incredible. For movies not so much. But like any soundbar you have to play with sound settings on the app for better sound. But like said, get it for for a small room.

Boosts my TVs sound exceptionally! Has good bass and sound quality. Love the Bluetooth connectivity for my phone while playing music.

Our TV speakers just weren't cuttin it, we'd have the volume all the way up and it still sounded weak. I didn't want super expensive surround sound speakers, and i didn't want something low quality, nobody got time for that. So this was definitely worth it- it doesn't take up a lot of space, and sounds great, and super easy to connect.

Easy to set up. Alexa works well. Maybe I'm not playing it loud enough but I don't find the sound that much better than what I get from the TV. I might get more impressed when I play more varied things.

The Samsung sound bar works great with our Samsung TV. Great product for the price. Makes the sound so much better!

I liked the design and the idea of not having to hide a subwoofer from my toddler but I soon found there was no bass and the sound wasn't that great. Also, the sound shooting out of the back and sides was distracting when sitting more towards the side. I exchanged it for the HW-T650 and I'm happy. Pros: - Looks cool - Easy to exchange at Best Buy Cons: - No bass and the overall sound just didn't sound right - Alexa volume was 100% when the TV sound was too low and she yelled at me - Alexa couldn't even change the input - It wouldn't auto turn on when playing something from the tv

Sound is perfect. Its small enough for a wall mounted shelf. With alexa Bluetooth and Wi-Fi ready a bonus.

I purchased the 2.0 version and didn't like it at all but then saw this one, bought it and tested it and it works great. The sound is way better and louder on this one and it has a built in subwoofer too.

It is not laud enough but its ok. It is a good product just not laud enough for me.

I have the sound bar in front of my TV. It does not cover the TV which is on its stand. I find I can't make the sound as quiet as I'd like. Making it loud is easy!

Great compact design and quality, purchased it to hook up with the Q800T Samsung TV I just purchased from best buy, very happy.

I needed a soundbar for my samsung 55 inch curved tv that I purchased in June 2016. I tried a 300watt polk soundbar, but it was not compatible with my 8500 series samsung tv. This unit works very well with my tv and it work's very well with my tv remote control. I was looking for soundbar's with all in one, and I may pick up the aux bass speaker later.
