Thank you for purchasing the HW-S60T soundbar and for your review. I am very sorry for the sound synchronization issue you are experiencing.
If the video on the TV and audio from the soundbar are not synchronized, press the SOUND CONTROL button on the soundbar remote, until you see AUDIO SYNC on the display. You can then set the audio delay between 0~300 milliseconds by using the Up/Down buttons.
You can also try the below to minimize the delay:
1) Connect the source directly to the Soundbar’s HDMI input, then connect the Soundbar to the HDMI ARC input on the TV.
2) On the TV, set the Sound Delay level to 0. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay: “0”
3) Change the audio format to PCM on both the source device and the TV.

Great sound bar

It’s just enough to cover my living room area which is a smaller living room. It has great sound and makes movie time realistic. Of course you’ll need to adjust everything to your own preferences but that’s a breeze. Brings the shows to life like a movie theater.

Amazing soundbar

I am happy with my purchase, they are not many choice for 5.1 surround system around this price range.

Great and reliable Soundbar

I use an optical connection with my Samsung tv. Works seamlessly. I can control my volume using only my tv remote and simply store away my soundbar remote.

I had originally gotten a Yamaha sound bar, but it would not pair with Samsung TV Remote

Connects to smart things and you can control it without any problems. Moreover connecting through Bluetooth and HDMI is great.

Not the bes!

I would however recommend for smaller rooms. We also had really bad connection issue resulting in weird robotic sounds during the movie.

To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: STANDARD, MUSIC, or ADAPTIVE SOUND.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

Expected More From Samsung

I bought it on the sale price of $269.99. The overall sound quality is average but won’t blow you away or replace any soundbar with a dedicated subwoofer. It has plenty of volume, but does a lot better with movies than with music. It really struggled with above 75% volume with music with average to heavy bass. My biggest issue was Alexa built into the soundbar. After returning the first one due to the same issue, and trying a second one and having the same outcome, I can only assume it’s a firmware issue. The manual Samsung gives you is very vague with setting Alexa up. As a person who’s technically inclined, I was not able to set it up successfully. I’ll be returning this product and will give the Sonos Beam a shot.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-S60T Soundbar. To set up the Alexa functionality, you must do it within the SmartThings app. However, if you are having trouble, follow these steps on your smart phone:
1. First delete the Soundbar from your SmartThings account: At the top left corner of the main page, tap on the 3 horizontal bars > Devices > tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top right corner > Delete > select the Soundbar > Delete
2. Uninstall the SmartThings app from your smart phone
3. Reinstall the SmartThings app from the app store
4. Sign into your SmartThings account
5. Tap the + button at the top right of the main page > select Device > AV > Samsung > Soundbar
6. After the Soundbar has been added, select the Soundbar from the main page
7. Tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top right corner and tap on “Alexa Settings” to log in to your Amazon account

Adds a lot to the new TV
