A great dryer that compliment the Samsung washer that I bought with the dryer. You will need the stacking kit bracket if you plan to stack the dryer on top of the washer.

After a few months of use, the dyer makes the loudest squealing noise ever when on. Horrible for COVID-19 laundry doing - everyone on the ZOOM call is wondering what the horrible noise in the background is, even with doors shut between laundry and office. :( It's not been easy to schedule a repair either with the COVID rules.

However, about a year and a half into our ownership a loud squeaking noise started. A key part needed replacement which Samsung discontinued. Since it fell just outside of warranty, they refused to replace, yet they won't produce the necessary part. So while it operates, it squeaks loudly. Local appliance repair shops can't fix it, (even Samsung authorized repair shops) and tell you to contact samsung, but......... the circle of frustration starts. worked with three different repair shops and Samsung over about a year and to no avail. Samsung said replace it -- so i will with another company's product.

Damaged on arrival and returned

The delivery crew took it back and I was able to get a refund without much difficulty. I went with a ventless heat pump model that works quite well and I don’t have to worry about the ventilation hose collecting dust and lint and creating a fire hazard.
