Needs costly repairs after 1.5 years of use

I bought it in October, 2020 and installed and started using it in November of that year. By June, 2022 it had a persistent squeal that's gotten progressively worse. A repair person said it's the bearings and will be expensive to fix. Plus the parts are backordered 4-6 weeks. I've had dryers for more than a DECADE that didn't ever need to be repaired. I'm so sorry I cheaped out and didn't buy the Miele!

Sensor dry is a sham - it NEVER works correctly in identifying when everything is thoroughly dry. So timed dry is the only viable option. But it'll take 2 hours to dry half a load of normal clothes. A load of sheets or towels takes about 4-5 hours.
