great compact dryer, very quiet, quick drying, easy to use

The Samsung Dryer was delivered on time, well packaged and with all associated parts. The delivery person suggested that I remove my the 220 vac plug from my old dryer before they hauled it out to the truck. It was a good suggestion as the Samsung Dryer is normally shipped without a plug and I was not aware of this. The installation was simple and straightforward. The dryer was purchased along with the matching washer to replace the current stacked washer/dryer set in the condo laundry closet. The fit of the new Samsung was snug, but o.k. I had made measurements prior to the purchase, but was still a bit concerned about the fit of the dryer vent. The rear venting turned out not to be a problem . Also, there is a "knock out" hole on either side of the dryer which would allow for installing the vent hose on the side. This was not pointed out when I viewed the dryer at the store. Access the installation manual on-line before you purchase if you have concerns about the venting. I purchased the Stacking Kit which made mounting the dryer on top of the washer an easy task. The unit runs quiet, drys well and with minimal vibration. Do read the owners manual as there are a lot of optional bells and whistles in the control settings. The Geek Squad did an overall good job with the delivery. They were on time, called when they were on the way and were polite and careful of walls, furniture and doorways. My one criticism is that large pieces of foam packaging and plastic wrap were left laying on the street after the delivery which I had to go out and pickup. Overall, I am satisfied with the price, quality, delivery and sales staff and will do business with Best Buy again in the future.

So far so good. Works as advertised. Easy to use and clean. Electric dryers typically take much longer to dry than gas but no complaints.

Chose this dryer and the matching washer because of its compact size and the fact that it was one of the few vented options available. Since I've never owned a compact machine I was concerned, especially since I purchased it without seeing it in person before stores had reopened because of COVID. However, that has not been a problem. For one person it has plenty of room. My main concern is that it's louder than expected. I bought this for a small condo and the laundry closet is basically in the middle of the living area. It's definitely not quiet but I'm not sure how much of that is because of the location or design of my condo. The matching washer is also much louder than expected, especially when filling with water. Overall, I still feel it's a good choice and the size is just right for me. Drying time and effectiveness has been about what I expected. It is unfortunate that compact machines are so much more expensive than standard options so I've marked it down for value. I would like to say thank you to Best Buy for making the purchase and installation experience so easy. I originally tried buying it in person from Lowe's but that was not a good experience at all. After canceling that order, I was able to complete the entire process with Best Buy online with ease. Delivery went off without a hitch.

Has been working great! Drys fantastic. It’s on the smaller size but no complaints I can fit what I need into it.

Works as described. Cute and quite. We have had it for a year with no issues. Doesn't hold much but gets the job done.

Bought this as a part of a combo to replace my 12 year old Maytag. It is quiet and compact. I have had to be mindful of the size of load as sometimes it will not dry fully on auto dry.

Looks great, fits great in my small laundry closet, love the design of the lint tray. My only complaint, if I had one, would be the drying time varies frequently on the screen, I guess it changes based on sensoring, which would be fine, but then it will stop with clothes still damp. So I just restart it. Not a big deal, but don't understand why it does this.

Kinda high priced but nice compact size Which was needed for space

I have to get compact units due to my space constraints (so i wont penalize the rating for that)Everything is working well. I have used a variety of setting options and happy with them. I have both the w/d units stacked with both doors opening the same way. I am already used to washing small loads, so i am good there too. I hope these last as long as my prior Frigidaire units (14 years) or longer! I will say that i do not think a queen sized comforter will fit these units, so i have to wash my larger bedding items elsewhere (again not a penalty)

Only have had them for a short time but so far seem great. Quiet and user friendly.

It works awesome. I bought this dryer to stack on my LG washer machine bought 5 years ago still worked good but LG dryer they don’t make it anymore. Had to replace a 2009 Amana dryer that was to big for the closet and was not properly vented. This Samsung one fit perfectly on top, has a lot of functions and plenty room to vent it

We chose this compact dryer because of our small laundry room. It looks great and has all the settings you could ever want. Even the load size is pretty good. I just wish the opening was a bit larger - it's not easy to get clothes in and out through the small opening. Also wish there was an option for pedestals.

I am very happy with my new drier. It fits well into a very snug space, is very attractive and dries better than I expected for a compact unit. Nice music accompanies functions.

This washer is very compact and is perfect for small apartments or homes with limited living space. I've had this item for about 2 months. We are a family of 2 so this is perfect for us. If you are a larger family I would recommend to try to get a larger unit. Sheets and blankets do fit but I would advise you to do individual loads. Overall I am surprised by the capacity considering it's size. FYI Check your area before you install to make sure it's the right fit whether it's this product or any other product in the future.

If you hate laundry, this is the one for you. Minimalistic in its nature by size, easily fits in most closets and does an excellent job cleaning your clothing. I wash everything but large blankets with no issues so it handles our laundry well. NOT for a big family but WHO has those anymore? It's perfect for you and your lover, and one child. More than that? Bigger IS better in that case!

I really love all the features on this dryer. It’s super efficient and quiet. And as a bonus it has the most unique cycle completion music, ever.

Machine is very powerful, efficient and relatively quiet. Had to go into the laundry room to conform that it was actually still running.
