Buy all end all sound system

The only reason im giving it a 4 star review is because the audio will very rarely cut out during bluetooth streaming. Its noticable, but it occurs very rarely. I would highly recommend this sound system to anyone who wants to get a top quality sound system. It has numerous audio settings such as bass boost, surround sound (great for movies), adaptive mode, and more. It also has a remote and its convenient to use at long ranges.

I wish you could adjust the volume on the back separate from the main bar. The sub has a good thump to it.

Dont waste your money. Get a better model

The volume is horrible compared to my other Samsung soundbar. The volume needs to be up twice as much to achieve good a good volume. Rear speakers shut off if you leave "surround mode". Overall this model disappoints me. Its coming off my tv.

Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-A470. We appreciate your feedback regarding the audio performance of your soundbar.
This soundbar features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Bass Boost mode to instantly amplify the bass with a touch of a button. You can try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, or ADAPTIVE.
You can further adjust TREBLE via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
Additionally, there are two additional adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down
2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics (Set the sound mode to standard)

Too much feedback and unreliable Bluetooth

Cannot use because of the hissing and buzzing you hear during moments where it should be silent. Gets only slightly louder than my actual TV and the Bluetooth connection kept disconnecting so I stopped using it completely after only a week or two.

Not Wireless

I bought it thinking the rear speakers would be wireless to use as a surround sound type. The price was fair but they are not wireless. The rear speakers come with a wireless/bluetooth router that you connect to your main speaker and then connect your Two rear speakers, one with each cable to the rear of the router then it should connect. You will have trouble with the rear speakers connecting but that will be the wires on the rear speakers. So just try to adjust them pushing them in or out a bit. Also my bass speakers came cracked from the back a bit

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-A470 Soundbar System which comes with a subwoofer and rear speaker kit. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the wireless description of the rear speakers.
Occasionally, customers have trouble hiding and running speaker wires from the front of the room (where their soundbar is) to the back of their room (where they have their rear speakers). The Rear Speaker Kit eliminates that hassle. Connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room.

A lot of reviews of this item are negative but people don’t realize you get what you pay for, yea the surround speakers aren’t going to be super loud but it gets the job done! I love this system
