Made my 70in Samsung tv sound a million times better than before. The rear speakers including is a necessity as they are one of my favorite parts now due to the fact the make you feel fully immersed in the sound of your movie.

The built-in speakers face rearward and we always had a hard time understanding dialogue. The Samsung 4.1 channel soundbar with subwoofer and rear speakers has made a noticeable improvement in the overall audio range, especially voice and bass. It's probably not as good as a 5.1 setup would be (and I didn't realize the difference when I ordered) -- but it is SO much better than what we had. I found out after-the-fact there is no dedicated center speaker. Under 4.1 the two front satellites 'matrix' the sound to form an invisible center speaker (this is using Dolby Pro Logic decoding). With 5.1 the center channel is discrete (in Dolby Digital 5.1/DTS decoding). The center channel is used mainly for dialogue in movies. Contrary to other reviewers, everything worked well after setup including the Bluetooth connectivity, and the rear satellite spkrs are very distinctly audible. (I mounted them on the wall behind where we sit.) We just had to make sure to select "Surround Sound" as the option both on the TV and on the soundbar settings. Time will tell how well it holds up while traveling.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the wireless description of the rear speakers. Occasionally, customers have trouble hiding and running speaker wires from the front of the room (where their soundbar is) to the back of their room (where they have their rear speakers). The Rear Speaker Kit eliminates that hassle. Connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room.
One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room.

The Rear Speaker Kit eliminates that hassle. Connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room.
To troubleshoot the sound dropping issue, you may first want to check the cable connection of the soundbar to the TV or external device to ensure it is secure, and properly connected to the correct port.
In addition to checking the connections of the soundbar, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware version (v.1009). Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements and often resolves connection issues. You can update your firmware by using a USB device.
Should this not resolve the issue, you may also want to initialize your soundbar by pressing the - and + (volume) buttons on the side of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. The light indicator on the front of the soundbar will blink 4 times and the soundbar will be reset. Please know, this will reset all settings on the soundbar back to default; any sound adjustments will need to be performed again.
Should you continue to experience audio dropouts, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the issue entirely and improves the user experience.

This is an expensive product. Therefore, I will never buy another product from Best Buy ever again.
