Washer looks good but when it comes to functioning it’s a headache. Works fine under “normal wash” but when you try to use any other setting like “quick wash” or “heavy duty” it just stops half way through the cycle and keeps beeping or just fills with water then drains but doesn’t wash. I’ve tried putting less clothes because maybe it’s too heavy and can’t spin but even then it just stops.

Terrible! This machine messed up my clothes! I returned it for a front load the next day after use. It releases the detergent and softner before the water is filled so the product is sitting directly on your clothes while the tub is waiting to fill.

Stopped working after 3 months. Worked fine then it stopped when it gets to the spin cycle. Yeah there is a warranty but who likes to deal with all that.

If there is a zero star option I would’ve given that. This is the second one I had in two weeks time. Both of them stopped working after nine days. They would try to spin and couldn’t.

Really liked this washer at first... but it just died mid cycle after only 2 months of use. It's only my Girlfriend and I that use it, so it doesn't see constant abuse or anything. Absolutely ridiculous that it quit, let alone so early on. Don't think I'd get another Samsung. They should stick to phones & TVs.

It stopped working within 5 months after purchasing

Motor seems like it burned out after 3 weeks. Not good.

Worst washer ever i hate it. Just got it in January and it started going wrong in march. Im so dissatisfied and wants a refund My clothes looks dirty when it finishes washing and the washer is super loud

The new Samsung Top Load Washer brings me back to my college days when we would lug our laundry down to the laundry room. All the machines there were top load. Side load were not around then. The new top load washing machine got a huge upgrade for its predecessor. What I love about the top load over the side loading washer is that I feel it is easier to use and not have to worry about the machine not being level. Also it is a lot easier to throw in that extra shirt that you forgot to put in at the beginning. I like the option you can turn on the water inside and rinse off the cap for the laundry detergent. The Agitator really scrub and and agitate the clothing without doing too much damage to the clothes. The old machine use to put your clothes thru a ringer every time you wash it. Clothes tend to not last as long because of that. I noticed my clothes aren't as tangled after the wash as with the side loading washer. The Smart aspect of the washer allows you to trouble shoot with your smart phone which is always a plus for me. I've done a total of 10 washes so far and I can tell that my clothes comes out as clean or even cleaner than my 10 year old side loading washing machine. The Acitve Water Jet allows you to pre wash those dirty stain from your clothes prior to throwing it in the washer. The washer runs very quite when it does the spinning. Most of the sound comes from the water sloshing and running inside. It has 10 different washing cycles you can choose from. I especially like the deep wash for my workout clothes and gardening. My old machine was only 4.0 cubic feet and this one is 4.4. The 0.4 makes a huge difference especially with the large comforter. I have no trouble fitting it in with room to spare. I've been wanting to get a top load for awhile to replace my side load washer. I'm very impress with all of the features this machine has.

Not sure if its a defective unit or if its just the dryer itself. But it doesn't dry my clothes. I can have 7 pair of socks set on medium for an hour and they will still be damp.

Washer is to tall for shoter people. Need a step stool to get clothes out of it. Plus washer keep coming up with codes c4 and not washer clothes.

The product is not performing well and I have been waiting on someone to come out check on the washer.

I am so glad I finally got a washer with an agitator again! This washer is BIG! I have to wash my dogs washable potty pads and I fit 7 in it in one load, and they feel better than they have since they were new. It is going to save me alot of water. It also has an extra feature if you need to wash anything out real quick and not have to do it in your sink. In one of the pics you can see the water coming out to wash your items . I put three 1 gallon jugs of soap in there so you can see how deep the tub is. It is a great washer!! I use the heavy Duty for the dogs pads and it really gets them clean!

Love my new washer and all it features a little noisy in the beginning but not so bad now. Happy I chose the one with the removable ignition clothes comes out so much cleaner

I received this amazing Washer at a very deep discount in exchange for an honest review from The Insiders. First of all, the price I paid can't be beat for a brand new washer! I absolutely love love love this washer! This washer is very easy to use. The soft close lid is an amazing feature as well. The washer is very quiet and does not shake or vibrate during the wash (vibration reduction technology, amazing!) and spin cycles like normal old bulky washers do. This washer gets our clothes super clean and they dry quickly. There are many preset cycles to choose from. I used the deep wash cycle, warm water, high water level. It also spins and balances itself at the beginning of the cycle for correct water level. At the end of the wash, the washer plays a cute melody. 1000% recommend

The Samsung 4.4 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with ActiveWave Agitator and Active WaterJet is a terrific washing machine. My family has finally stopped complaining about the washing machine, everyone in the house is extremely happy with the cleaning ability of this washer. It is not very loud during washing cycles and has a very impressive estimated yearly energy cost of approximately $18 when using a natural gas water heater! From washing a large load of rugs or dog blankets or towels to a regular load to delicate clothing this washer does not disappoint. I am convinced that the ActiveWave Agitator helps remove week old "set in stains" without using a pre-treat spray. The Control Panel has a nice variety of selections from Normal, Heavy Duty, Deep Wash (good for dog blankets and rugs), Bedding, Quick Wash, Delicates, to a Rinse + Spin, or just a Rinse Cycle. There is also a Self-Clean feature to make sure the inside stays fresh. The washer has four temperature control buttons from Cold to Hot. I prefer the Eco Temp button, it gives a nice warm water wash which is just the right temperature for my laundry. The water level can be set from Low for small loads to Extra High for those big, bulky loads of blankets or bedding. The soil settings go from light to heavy, which I seem to use often, but have never been disappointed in the cleaning ability of this washer. There is also a Pre-Soak feature as well as an Extra Rinse feature, which I use quite often. There is also a SmartCare feature for those who like to check the status of the washer using a smart phone. I have yet to try this feature, since I am a "put it in and forget about it type of girl." Anyways, the washer plays a nice little melody when the washing cycle is complete! I am glad that my family was selected to participate in the Samsung Laundry Campaign and given this wonderful opportunity to trial and review this great washer.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the ActiveWave Agitator in the Samsung 4.4 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with ActiveWave™ Agitator and Active WaterJet – it’s still just an agitator, right? Now that I’ve seen it in action, it seems to be much gentler on the clothes while still moving things around and making sure soap is well distributed. It also seems to reduce the amount of tangling and keeps it balanced better. It is so much quieter than my old washer (which was admittedly old). I love the Active WaterJet – makes spot treatments so much easier since I don’t have a sink with my washer. The preset washing cycles are really useful – I haven’t had the opportunity to use them all yet but I’m getting there. Of course my most used is just simply "normal" - easy and ready to go, but I've also used the heavy duty and the bedding settings as well as the delicates setting - I've been really pleased with them all. I don’t have to worry about all the different settings – I just turn the nob and it selects the right settings for me. I then have the option to adjust those settings – which is a really nice feature as well. I like having the options for the five temperature levels. I tend to use the Eco Warm most - I get the benefit of the warmer water while using less energy. I haven’t used the Self Clean option yet either but I really like the fact that it exists – gives me extra peace of mind – I’d hate to see what built up in my old washer. I’m not really sure about this SmartCare option – using the convenience of my smartphone, to me, would mean that I can tell when my load is done. If I need to use the SmartCare feature often, that’s not a good thing. Luckily I haven’t had to use it yet. Overall I really like this washer – it seems to do a good job of cleaning the clothes without putting a lot of wear and tear on the fabric.
