Very unsatisfactory performance by these machines. Poor cleaning by the washer and dryer does not completely dry close after full run of cycling.

I was excited to get a new washer until I had it delivered. This washer is not as effective as the reviews say. If you shine a light to the wash while on a heavy duty load, you will notice that whatever is on the top, will stay on the top. I have three children under 10 and this was not the washer for us. No agitation=residue from food/soils unless pretreated. Replaced for an LG 6 motion washer that is great!

At first, the washer did not use the proper water level - and all the clothes ended up being twisted tightly in the process. During the second wash, the machine flooded the laundry floor out of the bottom front of the machine (somehow). Getting the return processed took several weeks, exposing numerous business process issues at Best Buy. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

I purchased the same washer last year. There was a recall due to problems wit the top coming loose. I purchased new one at Best Buy. The day after it was delivered we tried to wash clothes and it wouldn't spin. We then went back to Best Buy and dealt with the manager of that department, (can't remember his name), who was wonderful. We purchased an LG instead. The Samsung was returned!

I have reviewed several washing machines on the hunt for a replacement for my Maytag Neptune that finally died after 12 years. We decided on the Samsung after reading several reviews. We were informed that top loaders without an agitator is now the way to go. This washer has very large capacity, the features we were looking for and cleans the clothes well. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the delay cycle option seems to not want to work. All in all a great choice for a washer!

We bought this as an open box item. Was in new condition except for minor scratches. Took over 2 hours to wash a load of towels. 3.5 hours to wash normal clothes. Should have read the reviews before we bought. We returned this the very next day.

Product was recalled and had to either get repaired to submit for partial refund toward a new model.

My brand new washing machine had such an intense spin cycle that the clothes came out almost dry, with wrinkles that could not be ironed out of many of our clothes. The drain hose was so short that the washing machine had to be moved closer to the laundry sink and set at an angle to the wall. Best Buy told me that I should take it up with Samsung.

So, like many of you that read through the reviews and did a lot of research before I made this purchase. The washer is great; although to be honest it takes a bit to get used to you, if you are anything like me you are used to the traditional washer with the agitator. This washer does not work like the typical old-school agitator washer. To this point I've had it for about a month and yet have not had anything come out dirty, stained, or not fresh. I don't know how the washer does it there's many different cycles within a wash cycle the tube spins this way that way, turn off, soak and spin again, not like your traditional washer. I don't know how it does it it just does it and very quietly. Only thing I can say I do not like about it is the hot water temperature. This is a government mandated issue not a brand or type of washer issue. Like your traditional washer you can set it too hot when washing undergarments or whites in the washer will fill up with strictly hot water your new washers do not allow this and only allow certain amount of hot water, again this is a government mandated thing that was put on washers to conserve energy. After months I would definitely say I would purchase this washer again and the Best Buy staff was not only great in the store but delivery was flawless!

Washer and dryer purchased as set. Beautiful function up until the warranty lapsed at one year. Thought the extended warranty would buffer that. Wishful thinking. Much frustration and passing of the buck leaves me disliking Samsung products and distaste for Geek Squad protection (lack thereof).

I saw a really bad review for this machine on BestBuy.com and was not sure if this was the machine for me or not. It was delivered on Saturday and I've done about 7 loads of laundry so far. I've gotten to know the machine pretty well already! It is pretty quiet, maybe not whisper quiet but I don't hear it in the other room. I am most surprised by the way it balances itself. At least that what it seems to be doing.... during the spin cycle, when it starts to spin, it sounds like it's about to wobble and make all this noise (from more of the clothes being on one side, everyone's had to, at one point, take wet clothes out and rearrange them to get your washer to spin evenly) then it somehow balances the clothes (with the window top, I can see the clothes move) and then goes back into spin. The clothes come out almost dry! This is the second washer I've purchased in my lifetime. It is a great great machine.

Only the front 2 legs adjust making it very difficult to level the washer.

This washer worked for a little over a month before it started to make grinding noise at the start of the cycle and a rapid squeaking sound at the end of the cycle. I would suggest getting the Geek Squad protection if you buy Samsung products (this use to not be the case).

outside of washer, including back panel, has condensation with every load- even without adding clothes. 'clicking' sounds after third wash. don't feel clothes are getting thorough wash. waiting on best buy to complete an exchange for different model.

The washer looks nice but its performance is rather inconsistent. Washed cloth is kind of wet and needs longer time in dryer. Spin cycles are often noisy and loud, which is very different from what Samsung has claimed. Overall disappointed.

My last washer was a front loading that rocked back and forth, made terrible noise and needed repair as soon as the warranty was up. I didn't want another front loading machine so took a chance on this washer. I'm so glad I did. It's wonderful! Quiet, efficient, and clothes come out nice. My only two concerns, and they are small, is that the washing machine is DEEP. If you are under 5'3", you might have trouble reaching the last of the clothes at the bottom of the machine when taking it out. I'm 5'4" and almost need to get on my tip toes. Also, large items like sheets have twisted a few times, pausing the machine. No big deal, just untwist. I chose to turn off the sound that is played at the end of the cycles. Easy to do! I highly recommend this washing machine. Best one I've ever bought. Best Buy delivery was quick, efficient and very helpful.
