This replaced a very old washer (1980's) and has far more bells and whistles than I generally need but I have been getting some experience with the washer. In general it is a pretty good washer, quiet and a lot of options for various wash loads. It also qualified for an energy rebate from my local utility. There are only a few things I am not keen on. I don't like that the top locks for the entire wash cycle instead of only when spinning. I like to add softener and other things to the wash at various times during the cycle and this prevents me. Also, the liquid bleach drawer gets gunky since no water flows through it to flush the bleach. Finally, the drain hose was very stiff and the plastic U holder that was provided with the washer was completely useless.

Full of rust and mildew after 4 years. Clothes have been stinking of mildew for over two years. Just discovered it was the machine!

doesn't rinse clothes very well. I have to use my sink to rinse it again

If you are looking to waste your money and be very disappointed then purchase this machine..

Do not buy this product!! Stay away from Samsung brand. Poor quality washer, leaves residue on your clothes! I have ruined expensive clothes with this washer!!

I bought this washer for a condo based on the reviews here. Based on a few days use, I'd say it 's a great washer. It does vibrate at high speed, but that may just be that the feet need to be leveled. it's much larger than my old builder grade washer, and it is very tight fit in a drain pan in an alcove. Too tight since it's rubbing against the front of the pan and there isn't any room for it to let the water drain if it overflows. The pan can't move because it's screwed onto the outlet pipe. Also the stainless steel inlet hoses are a very tight fit behind the washer. I'm a little concerned that they may end up leaking at the hose connection because of the the strain. 90 degree washer connections would have been better. The controls are pretty simple. I haven't tried to use it with very dirty laundry. I washed a fleece top that had some white markings on it and they did not completely come out. But the washer is very quiet, which is one of the reasons I bought it. All in all, I"m happy with it. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the high speed spin vibration, and the tight fit with the alcoves and drain pan.

For the price, I am very happy with this washer. Clothes are coming out clean, and I no longer have a mold problem, something that was an ongoing issue with my old front loader. That is why I switched to a top loader. While the cleaning action of this top loader does not seem quite as powerful as that of a front loader, my clothes are coming out clean. I have only had one instance where the machine went out of balance. That was easily resolved by redistributing the clothes evenly. For anyone having trouble with cycles taking too long due to balancing problems, I suggest you load the clothes the way they tell you to, by placing all the clothes around the outside of the drum leaving the center clear. It works. I never have an issue with loads being out of balance in the beginning.

I lived in my previous apartment for 2.5 years which had no washer/dryer connection, forcing me to make dreaded trips to the laundromat every week. I previously tried another HE washer & dryer when I moved to my new place last month--HATED everything about it. Exchanged for this set & I am absolutely in love! The sounds it makes when turning on, setting wash cycles are music to your ears. Doesn't do the loud annoying BUZZ at the end, instead it plays a cute little tune. As a prior frequent laundromat user, I was very picky in making my decision, read a lot of reviews from this site as well as others before buying & I absolutely love it!

The machine dosent wash right . The clothes always have water inside

The fact that the washer doesn't fill with water past about 1/4 of the clothes is infuriating. What a waste of water, time and energy.

I canceled the order because it took a month to even get it in. I was billed for the purchase before the washer was even delivered.

I have had this washer for a month and have washed everything from lingerie to a queen size comforter in it. I am so pleased with the results. It selects the water depth automatically and is very quiet. I would definitely recommend this product.

Machine was part of the recall. Spin cycle competently stopped working after 8 washes. Saw on the news these were exploding.

Saw report on possible problems after purchase and the news on how it damage a person laundry room. Would not by again.

I will never ever buy another Samsung product. They are the worst. And their customer service is terrible.

My wife hates this machine and is constantly complaining about how it operates. I regret this purchas.

Worst washer ever. The control panel kept stop working. Clothes would be dry on the top of the load.

no good get rusty and you can get your clothes to the trash

When our twenty-one-year-old Maytag clothes washer began to fail, we were faced with repairs costing $700 plus or purchasing a new machine. Our long trusted repairman warned us we would not likely see twenty years of service from any new machine. This sentiment was echoed by sales representatives at Lowes and Best Buy. Frankly, we were unimpressed with the new higher tech, high-efficiency offerings and discouraged by the many negative reviews of all brands. Our trusted repairman seemed to offer more positive comments on Samsung if we were unable to buy an old fashion Whirlpool (now the owner of the Maytag brand) middle agitator model. This kind of machine was missing in action, and we settled on the Samsung WA45H7000AW. The Best Buy salesman was by far the most helpful and their extended warranty the most reassuring. We purchased the matching dryer from BB. Both were delivered on time and installed without issue. My wife and I read the manual before using. Recommended! After the first load of clothes my wife declared using the new machines a piece of cake. So far the clothes are getting clean and time to do the deed is not taking as long as we had anticipated. It may be too soon to bestow a five-star rating but willing to take the chance and max the rating. Will amend if needed. (PS the cat loves watching and listening to the machines.)
