Don't buy it!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product is very well made and sturdy, but it doesn't wash clothes clean. I've tried it for 3 months and the energy efficient feature does not allow the machine to wash well. Also the laundry just goes back and forth, and not up and over as old models do. There is no center agitator. I'm using more detergent and even with added bleach, my clothes smell!! My whole closet is "stink" like poorly washed towels, and I smell my clothes and wrinkle my nose. I'm selling it and hopefully can find an older model before they all disappear as they only have energy efficient models now. What a shame!

Posted .Hi Shirl,
I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy with your Washer! It's very possible that the issues you've mentioned can be addressed with some simple solutions. For example, running the Calibration Mode, as shown on page 16 of the user manual, helps to fine tune the weight sensors, ensuring the Washer fills with the appropriate amount of water. Using only the recommended amount of HE detergent will help your clothes clean better, since too much detergent can make them look gray and dingy. Running the Self-Clean Cycle will help to keep the WA45H7000AW clean and fresh-smelling!
I would suggest reviewing the tips provided in the user manual and on Samsung's website to help you get the most out of your Samsung Washing Machine.
Hope this helps!

Buyer remorse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't buy. This machine was broke down on the first day, and it's been nothing short of a hheadache. I would not recommend purchasing this product because the tub can overflow and the motherboard can easily go bad.

Awful product and awful experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this washer in October 2016, was involved in the recall, and got another unit in December of 2016. Used it 2 weeks in December and the month of March before having issues. I don't believe the machine gets clothes clean. There is too little water and too little movement. And, my washer was not able to fill with the selected water temperature. I first noticed the problem when I selected a Delicate Cold load and the machine filled with hot water. The Normal Warm selection has given me water from 54 to 60 degrees. According to the manual, warm should be about 82 degrees. I tried Normal Hot and got 62 to 68 degree water. Hot should be 90-100 degrees. I tried Quick Hot and got 110 degree water. I did have soap residue on a few loads of dark clothes and am assuming it's because the water was too cold. The hoses are installed properly. Samsung did not have a Service Technician that would fix it and offered a replacement or a refund. I opted for the refund. I did have Geek Squad protection on the unit, but the sales associates told me it was an issue with Samsung. Samsung's Customer Service is the worst experience I have ever had. I was on hold with them 30 minutes most times and more than that on several calls. I still don't have my refund. And, Best Buy wasn't much help except to refund 'most' of the cost of my Geek Squad Protection Plan (but not all of it.) I would not recommend Samsung laundry products to anyone. I see the model is now on Clearance. Maybe they have figured out the model just doesn't work.

Nice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the features but the softener dispenser doesn't drain well and it doesn't seem to shake the clothes much. Technician to replace parts and evaluate tomorrow

Regret PurchaseDoesn't Clean Computer Malfunction
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The machine does not have allow for enough water to clean the clothes. Most of the time the water level does not cover the clothes. Samsung said the solution was to run the "high soil cycle" which takes about 15 to 20 minutes longer to complete each load. We often have to wash clothes twice and we run very small loads each time. The computer broke and getting a repair took several phone calls and over 1 and a half hours on the phone. They are not very helpful. This is my last Samsung purchase and we buy everything Samsung! Buy a basic simple machine. They don't know what they are doing with this product.

WATER BILL HAS INCREASED BECAUSE OF THIS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate that you can't adjust load size, water bill has increased every month because of this. Seriously thinking about trying to sell it and finding a new machine. I also hate that you have to adjust the water temp each load. I also notice if you want to wash with a true cold water cycle you have to change the temp setting so that it looks like nothing has been selected.

Wish I had never bought this
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I totally regret this purchase. Tons of residue left on clothes. We have tried different amounts and different brands of detergent, all with the same result. It has also ruined numerous shirts because they end up with small holes in them. Most recently destroyed a barely used mattress pad. I wish I had my old washing machine back. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

Unfortunate Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brand new just delivered today and currently doesn't work effectively. The machine reads uneven continues to refill and rinse and will not spin. Wasting water with no warning. I was promised someone would ensure it worked b4 they left. Wasted a day off from work and lots of water.

Defective junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer was great for maybe a year. The first thing to go wrong was the plastic casing on the inside broke from the movement of the machine spinning and flooded our 2nd story laundry room. They fixed it for free. A few months later the machine stopped spinning because the loads get off balance, refill with water, spin get off balance...repeat a million times. This is apparently a common problem based off a number of reviews I've read who stated the same problem. My model which is only 3 or 4 years old is now recalled due to a different issue and the rebate for a new one isn't even half of what we paid for it. We have multiple Samsung products including our fridge and cellphones, because we trusted this brand. They all have problems. Don't buy this machine!

JUNK
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had TWO replaced and they both worked for maybe 10 loads and then stopped working. They wouldn't drain or spin on ANY setting. The vendor that was subbed out to work on it, "fixed" it and left before the cycle ended and it did the same thing. I am STILL waiting (after a week) for them to come out and "fix" this one. I have requested the model be replaced. What a piece of junk!

Posted .TSims,
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. There are a number of factors that can affect the Washer's ability to drain and spin, including proper installation. For example, if the drain hose is inserted too far into the drain pipe, or if there's an airtight fit, this can prevent proper draining. If the Washer can't drain, then it also won't be able to spin.
I hope you find this information helpful in the event you come across this issue again in the future.
Regards,
Ms. Samsung

Samsung needs to use metal fittings
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Washer looks beautiful. But at installation it was cross-threaded. Once. And that damage caused the fitting to leak. About a drop a minute, but there are a lot of minutes in one day. If the fittings were metal, this would not be a problem. Or at least not require a new washer. Will update this review when the new washer comes in a week.

Doesn't wash clothes if tub is half loaded
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had this washer for about 60 days. If we wash sheets and a blanket; it leaves some dry spots because it doesn't fill the tub. We contacted Samsung. Their answer was to always put less than half the tub with clothes / blankets or whatever. Not sure why I purchased a big tub if I can't utilize the whole thing.

Worst buy ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a good machine. It left our clothes stained. Not all clothes get submerged in water or washed. I tried many diferent setting nothing seemed to help. Clothes still smelt the way they did before thrown in the wash. Not family friendly or dirty clothes friendly. Had it for a week and returned it. Save yourself the trouble get a different brand and get a front loader or old school agitator washer.

Don't Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst washing machine ever! Don't buy a Samsung washer! I have had this washer for a little over a year. I am waiting for the second time for it to be serviced. My appointment isn't until 2 weeks from now because they are so over loaded with bad washers. Now I have to go to laundry mat. Not Happy!

RUST AND A PUMP THAT MY FLOOD YOUR HOME
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just 16 months after purchase and the top assembly near the soap dispenser is rusting (see photo). Rust is also around the top lid hinge holes. Add to this a failed pump that needed to be replaced and relocated off the tub to the washer bottom. Cost $300.00.
