This seemed to be a defect in this version of the machine and its probably why they no longer make it. They even discontinued the color.

Turns out the door switch wasn’t reporting that the door was closed, so the wash cycle didn’t begin with any regularity. Best Buy service was on it, fixed it, and stand ready in the event of other problems. Fortunately there haven’t been other issues.

The washing machine began to stop working at 07/2019. The machine would not complete the spin cycle and just shut off. Samsung had technicians come out to my house 3 different times and it began to work for one week total . After the week the problem started again . I’ve been calling Samsung since 8/8/2019 . I was Told by Samsung I’m eligible for a refund so i emailed the bill of sale and I’ve gotten the run around since . II’ve called several time and no resolution. I was Told by CS to cut the power cord and email pictures in order to process my return. A day later I was told I’m ineligible for a return and they can fix the problem but the power cord was cut per Samsung CS. At this point, I’m waiting for Samsung to resolve . Please don’t buy!!!

Clothes don't feel (or smell) clean :-(

I've experiemented with load size, detergent amount, extra rinse, length of cycle (2 hours for heavy duty btw) and nothing seems to make my clothes feeling as clean as my old top loader. I have to use scent beads or dryer sheets to "hide" the smell. I've had the washer and dryer for about 3 months and just can't figure it out. Its quite frustrating seeing what I paid for it. I expected much more and am very disappointed. Now it's too late to return it.

Shaking

Since purchasing this washer the biggest problem is the shaking in the spin cycle. My husband balanced the machine and it still shakes. I called customer support and she walked me thru all test cycles and everything worked fine (no clothes in washer). Customer rep told me to put in a wet sheet and run short cycle. I did and it did not shake. After getting off phone with customer rep I put a load of towels, socks and shorts spread them out In the machine like the customer rep told me to and the machine shook so much that I had to hold it so it would not push my laundry sink over. I have had a front loader washer before this one and never had an issue with washer shaking like this one. I shouldn’t have to evenly spread out the clothes in washer so it does not shake. Very unhappy and want to return this washer for top loader instead.

Clogged and hard to clean
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Its our 4yrs if using this washer and now it started to show SC we clean the filter but it is still showing SC our previous washer is a GE topload and it took us 10yrs before we finally changed it. The only good thing for this machine is that it is water efficient but its hard to clean it if there is a clogged on the hose at the back.
