Got the set, washer and dryer this week. They are very nice looking. They stack very well. The Geek Squad did a great job of install. Kudos to them. They are easy to use so far. Cloths appear to be clean. I have a couple of small issues. I wish there was a prewash cycle. I know there is a presoak but that is not a prewash. The other issue I have is how do you know when the steam is applied? I watched the entire wash cycle with a very powerful flashlight and could not determine when it was applied if it was. There is no indicator light to indicate when it is being applied and the manual is no help at all as is the Samsung website no help. There is a lot of wonderful talk about the steam but no way to know when it is being applied or even if it is working. We got a great deal on the sale price which is why we upgraded from our LG front loader. The inability to know when and if the steam is being applied is an issue. The If is a big question for me. How do you know if it has stopped working down the road??

I am pleased with this washer. It cleans well and I can see everything well on the panel. I know others have said it needs to be back lit but I am able to see exactly the water temp, rinses, and spin amount without any trouble. I have had the washer for a couple of weeks now and it is working great! I have not yet had the need to use the steam cycle.

So far it has been great. It cleans my clothes and isn’t too loud.

Due to our house being built around using standard top loading washing machines and the placement where the drain was I could not install this front loader . The placement would have been too far to the left where as the Samsung washer door would have hit the wall. It was a beautiful unit and huge. It could handle much more than 3 people worth of 4-5 days worth of clothes

Great washer and dryer, works well. Just the free installation the guy put the pipes wrong and I had to wait another week for someone to come check just to make sure it was correct. The hassle of not touching it yourself and waiting for someone to look at it for a few seconds was annoying, but other than that the machine is great

quiet. gets the job done. Only 4 stars b/c Samsung should allow for the door to be reversed so that if the dryer hook-up is to the left of the washer, it'd be easier to transfer load from washer to dryer. In other words, front loading washer/dryer units (esp from the same manufacturer) should have doors that are designed to be able to open like French doors.

This washer replaced a similar 12 year old Samsung. This one has a few extra features that I like, including options to adjust spin speed and steam. And at the end of the cycle, the alarm goes off for a good 20 seconds, so it's easy to know when a load is done. After almost 8 months of use, I've had zero issues. My old Samsung had a clear door and an "End" light so, if we forgot about a load and walked by, we could see that it needed to be emptied. This model, the screen is just left dark/blank at the end of a load and the door is tinted and you cannot see inside. There are no visual cues to let you know there is anything in there and loads could be forgotten if you miss the chimes.

So far, so good. We had similar model before that gave us years of good service. It has many features and settings and is easy to use. I like the light touch buttons ( but hope it’s something that doesn’t easily malfunction ) Big drum that handles the big loads like a champ! If it lasts as long as the previous units, I’ll be happy.

Purchased this unit to replace a 10 year old front loader. Best not to think you are getting a high end washer when you purchase this washer. It does a good job, and has a good variety of settings. Pros: It is reasonable in price. It does a good job of cleaning clothes. It has settings found in higher priced units. Cons: It vibrates badly when in the spin cycle. If you place anything on top of the unit, it will slide off during the spin cycle. The build quality is cheep and basic which is why it vibrates so badly. It is also very noisy in the spin cycle. Thankfully we have a door on our laundry room to help cut down on the noise.

I love it its everything I wanted! Its got all the settings i wanted i love that it is very quite washes quickly i love that it is a energy saver i can set different spin cycles wash levels and also bulky settings for my blankets and that i can was more than one blanket at a time and the color of it i really like

This washer is very large, much bigger than our 20 year old one was. The spin cycle was so loud, we had a technician come out to check it and he determined there was a problem. They ordered a new washer and it is much better. I love the music when the load is done, but I wish there was a way to turn it off, in case I want to run it at night.
