Do not buy Samsung washers. This broke after 3 weeks and Samsung customer support is terrible. 2 repairs attempted, 3 other missed appointments and I’m still without a washer. The pictures are of a leak after just one minute of running.

1st Washer received 8/31/19 leaked water. 2nd washer received on 9/5/19 constantly had unbalanced loads and vibrated like crazy regardless of load size. For instance, one load with 10 T-shirt’s and 10 pair of male adult size socks wouldn’t spin. The machine just kept trying to reset itself over and over again without providing an error code of UB. I had to take out the socks so the T-shirt’s would spin and wring the socks out by hand. So you must purchase mesh bag even for adult male size socks. Also, you must separate comforters from sheets. Otherwise, sheets will get entangled and you will have an unbalanced load. It will just keep trying to spin and entangle bedding further. I had to separate comforter to spin out alone and machine still vibrated loudly. I also did a spin only cycle for sheets and they were super wrinkled. I only took a video but it won’t allow me to post on this site. Rinse cycle makes a clicking noise always. It’s very irritating. Water pools at the front of the gasket so you have to wipe it down once you’re done washing and leave the door open to help prevent mold. On a positive note, clothes washed well, pretty clean and smelled fresh. I did love the steam cycle; worked wonders for old athletic gear in which I was about to throw away. Gym clothes didn’t smell like deodorant, lotions, and sweaty/musty smells. I just had problems with spin cycle and rinse cycle had me concerned due to the sound. Doors only hinge left for washer and they couldn’t reverse. So it was constantly in the way to shift clothes to the dryer. My washer is on the right. Just for further insight, pedestals not high enough for bleach and some laundry detergent; and not sure if they interfered with machine being leveled. They really are only great if you just want the height to reduce bending over. As far as the dryer, it was decent. Permanent Press cycle worked best for wash and wear if you don’t like to iron and it was the hottest setting. Clothes may be slightly wrinkled when you select the normal dry cycle and be somewhat damp. I had to shake out clothing and run a 2nd time. The machine automatically sense and stop when most clothes are dry but not all clothing. This may be a good thing as it doesn’t over dry clothing. We returned both washer and dryer on 9/11/19 because we couldn’t get any assistance from Geek Squad. Wait time was about 50 minutes and I got immensely frustrated with personnel. I didn’t want to risk waiting it out and being stuck with an appliance that didn’t work well with only a 15 day return policy. I wish I had taken heed to other negative reviews as it’s now apparent other customers had similar issues. I so wanted to love this machine but I have to research and start all over again.

Washer broken and it needs to be replaced after 10 months of use. Samsung technician mentioned it is very common in this model to break the counterweight

This is my first time buying the new format washing machine. I am replacing a traditional top loading agitator driven modem that lasted 20 years but became unstable in its spin cycle. I did a fair amount of research and concluded that this Samsung was best for our situation. It’s just my wife and I living the empty nester life. We picked this model because of the self cleaning feature after reading about the front loading machine tendency to generate odor. It has also made a difference in the wash quality with multiple cycle options and the extra rinse option. It’s very quiet. And easy to program. There is less use of water and the use of HE detergent makes it more efficient, resource friendly and less expensive to operate than the old unit. Another bonus in the design is that I am able to build a top across the washer and dryer to gain usable countertop. I regret not adding the pedestal/storage bases. However, I will build a single unit based on one of the many YouTube videos available.

Purchased a washer/dryer set. Both are great appliances. They have many options and are very quiet. Even the end of cycle alarm is very pleasant. The champagne color is really nice too. These are big enough to wash and dry a queen size comforter. Both work very efficiently too. The dryer is very quick! Pleased with the purchase so far

After a great deal of researching washers in depth prior to having tso back surgeries. I chose this product for very specidic reasons, particularly its capability of thoroughly disinfecting clothing and bed sheets. At the end of antibiotic treatment through a picc line for a hospital acquired infectios disease, it was imperative I take every action necessary to not get any bacteria in my line or in the open wound I would be coming home with after two surgeries to remove anything that may have been left behind and then reconstruction of my spine. One can only imagine the importance of every detail. Not only was did the washer satisy my need to see and feel my freshly laundered fabrics, but the sanitizing options satisfied all of my orher senses, above and beyond what i ever imagined, and I was able to configure all the settings for each different load from bed. It also orders my supplies with anticipation and gives me illustrated step by step instructions for its maintenance. This not only saves me money, but all energy as well.

We nabbed the July 4th deal on this laundry pair prior to our move to a brand new home. Not only did we save some money but got a new, capable and efficient washer and dryer in the process. The settings are a cinch to use. Some provide fixed and unchangeable parameters (time, water temperature, etc.) but manual settings are an easy fall back. There are two models above this one which provide WIFI communication (alerts when your load is done, e.g.) but we didn't think it enough of an advantage to spend the extra money. Instead, we added the storage risers to give us extra storage space and height. Can't say enough good things about how thorough the washing cycles clean, how quiet the units are, and how versatile the steam settings are to sanitize (washing) and prevent wrinkles (drying). Highly recommended for features and capacity.

To sum it up, my wife loves it. Simple to use, energy efficient and cleans thoroughly at all programmed settings. Quiet operation and uses less water and power than our previous washer.

This washer is wonderful. Easy to learn to use, clothes get really clean and virtually wrinkle free, and it's very quiet. Customers need to be aware that if the hookup pipes in their home look old, the delivery personel will not hook up the washer for you because of company policy. They did remove it from the packing crate for us, but my 84 year old husband had to lay on the ground to slide it under the washer in order to move it into place. Delivery guys were nice, but we were left on our own. I paid for installation but there was none. Old pipes they said.

I’m really enjoying my new washer. It has a very large capacity so I can easily wash my oversized king plush down comforter. I will say on the bedding setting the spin cycle is not that high/intense so when washing a large comforter I don’t use that setting to avoid trying to dry a really wet comforter. This machine is a lot quieter than my older Kenmore front load washer. However, it shakes a lot during the high spin cycles so much that the entire base and washer moved several inches after the cycle was complete.

When the machine was delivered, the delivery person started a washing cycle. Because of this I did not open the door until well after the delivery people were gone. If I had opened the door and smelled the strong mildew/chemical smell, I would have returned it immediately. I went to the store and discovered that all of the machines on the floor smelled...but less than mine. I called Samsung who suggested bleach, and white vinegar- useless. Smell permeated the laundry room, mud room and kitchen. Finally used Affresh, and Finally Fresh. Took 5 days (not exaggerating) and immeasurable gallons of wasted hot water running empty machine to get smell out. Now clothes come out clean with no moldy smell. Best guess is that before shipped, each machine is tested and the residual water from the test remains in the machine. As the machines sit in the warehouses the water molds in the sealed machines. Other than that machine works well. More than enough washing options and plenty of room for a summer-weight king comforter. Would have given 5 stars if not for the smell.

Between whirlpool and Samsung, I chose Samsung because the product looked very stylish and so easy to use. The price was a good match as well. We didn’t need too many function keys, but steaming sounded awesome. 5 star for the product, HOWEVER, 1/2 star for Geek squad installation!!!! It took three attempts to have the washer and gas dryer installed bc each team that came required different things to be done, and they needed to leave soon!! No time to explain or help us fix what needed to be done! First it was drain pan being too close to the wall, second it was the drain pipe surrounding area not being sealed with silicon and the third, the gas line was not the correct size that was ordered and they don’t have a spare bc they tan out!!! Omg!! How are we supposed to know all that and the team kept postponing their work to the next appt!!!! It was so frustrating!!! And I had to sternly request the customer service manager on the phone to have the washer and dryer stacked up at least and NOT just leave it in the garage bc the team wanted to leave right then. The gas line Bestbuy sold us wasn’t even the right one, which we didn’t know. We had to run up to Lowes and get a different size, STILL Ended up calling the plumber to hook up our gas dryer bc Geek squad told us to make another appt and we just couldn’t wait any longer to wash our laundry. Highly dissatisfied with the installation team and how they work!!! They should assess the laundry area first and tell customers what to expect on the actual installation, instead of just coming in with the stuff and telling us it cannot be done today bc this and that didn’t get done. Very inefficient use of time and energy for both of us! It needs to be fixed!! This has been too stressful for us more than moving into a new house!! Installation Service was terrible.

No Issues till date. It’s been 3+ years. Exceptional performance and the machine is very user friendly in terms of operating it. Top-notch cleaning and quiet compared to other machines.

Probably my best purchase in years. This thing is efficient and quiet. The first couple times using it I had to check and make sure it was on. It was. No frills, it knows what you want. You want to wash clothes? It will do that. Steam? Sure! Sanitize peed up clothes your son left in his bathroom for three days straight? Not a problem.

I enjoy writing reviews, but I know they become much more helpful to potential future buyers when it comes to larger appliances ensuring you select that right one! We were in need of a washer, and aside from it being bought on a sale price which definitely did catch the eye initially, the exterior appearance is also nice with the champagne color... the actual washer itself is great!!! Bought this during corona virus season. So the installation wasn’t able to be done but the shipping was promptly. Installation was very easy and not a hassle! Instructions all helped well. Love all the options it provides! Did once sample wash with a few dirty towels to get the stored away small internally in the washer away, then was good to go!! Leave the clothes almost dry itself When it’s done with how great it cycles. Proud purchase for sure! Thanks Samsung !

I never realized how loud our old washer was until we bought this one. It’s pretty quiet. The functions are easy to use...my 12 year old figured it out in minutes. It does feel a little low to the ground...so we’re building a platform to make it easier to get thing in and out without breaking our backs.

I'm not one to review products, but decided to shed some light on this washer and dryer set for those who are currently looking. We had no idea what brand we were going to go with but with that being said, we're glad we went with Samsung (so far). The washer and dryer have a large capacity which is nice for consolidating loads, but we were really impressed by how quiet they are compared to the GE brand washer and dryer we had in our last apartment. On that note, the GE washer and dryer were new, and within a year the motor for the washer died on the GE washer. Not saying that happens to all of them, but it definitely wasn't a fun process to go through. Both my fiance and I work in healthcare, so it is also nice to be able to steam sanitize our clothing from work.... especially during covid! Overall, I'd recommend this to couples or families who wash a fair amount of clothing. If you're a single person who only does your own laundry you may look into a smaller set as this one may be larger than you need.

We've had our new washer/dryer combo for about 2 months. The washer does a good job on cleaning and is easy to use. We still haven't figured out how to use the bluetooth features and app yet. (and no help from the installers) Biggest complaint is every load spin cycle, the washer bangs, shakes, and clunks, like it is unbalanced. I would call the Geek Squad to check it out, but I hear they are not doing in-home servise right now. I bought the Total Tech Support package for past 2 yrs., but feel it has no value during the pandemic. I think Best Buy should extend or give a partial refund for those members as a result.

I was a little skeptical to get a front loader for my next washer. This has exceeded my expectations. Easy to use, fits tons of clothes at one time and is very efficient. Easy to use and my clothes are exceptionally clean

Cleans fine and can fit a large comforter plus duvet and sheets. Prefer using the liquid laundry detergent over the pods with this machine. I do wipe down the rubber door seal after each load and leave the door open to prevent the moldy smell. When I don't do this, the next time I open the door, the machine stinks. I've had it for a year without any issues. I did not get the pedestals but sometimes wish I had.
