I looked at reviews and prices. This is a good brand, and a good TV. Price was good because it is outdated--not a smart TV. Which is fine in my case. Works great. Colors are great. I like two HDMI ports.

We needed a new tv so we went to Best Buy and found this tv. Thankfully it was in stock. The Samsung 40" LED - 1080p - HDTV has a great picture. Easy to setup and operate. We love it.

The TV I purchased was easy to install. It gives beautiful pictures and makes me want to watch TV. Overall it is a wonderful purchase. Thanks to the sales man who recommended this one.

This unit does it all. Fairly easy to operate for a beginner. The remote actually works. The adjustability of the sound features is amazing.

Great color and sound. Remote has large keys making it easy to navigate. Purchased wall mount with swivel and you can see tv from any angle of the room depending on where you are sitting.

It's got great picture and for only having the 60 hz I'm still impressed with it

The price we paid for a 40" LED TV was outstanding. We did not need a Smart TV for this location. Can't quite the TV to fit perfectly in the stand so it leans just a little bit. Perhaps I did not install it properly. Otherwise a great value.

Purchased this to replace 32 inch TV and has a good picture and trust the brand.

I bought this set to replace a 40' Element that I bought on Black Friday 2012 from the Red Bullseye store. It started to cut off once an hour. Reading on line I found that this set has a faulty power supply that overheats. I dumped that unit and gladly bought this Samsung. It only has two HDMI inputs and is not a Smart TV. Since I have a Roku device so that's not a big deal but I do have to swap out HDMIs when I watch DVDs but that's no problem for my particular set up. We are very happy with the picture quality and audio is adequate but I probably get a sound bar at some point. All in all a good purchase and would recommend to anyone keeping the previous caveats in mind.

Good picture. Stand was crooked, propped it straight. Good enough for the price.

Excellent picture quality. The speakers sound good too. Finding an HDTV with decent sound has been a bit of a struggle. But this HDTV has been great. Easy to mount, not to heavy.

Haven't had any issues with the t.v. and it is pretty good quality for the price.
