I have a projector in my home theater and I work on computer LCDs constantly, so I held off buying a flat screen for years. Even when I finally made the decision to get a new TV, I didn't want to invest a lot. I researched all of the options in the price range and chose this Samsung. Whether I am watching sports or playing my XBox One, the screen hasn't shown and pixellation. Since sound was one of my major concerns when I was researching units, I definitely want to mention that there is plenty of volume and the speakers are clear.

Samsung has not let me down once again. Great deal.

This was purchased as a gift for an older relative that never had an HDTV - set up was so easy, remote buttons are easy to read - picture is beautiful!

I purchased "open box" 2 HD TVs January 2015 based ont eh reccomendations of the Best Buy Associate. His recommendations proved to be excellent ones.

My siblings and I went in on a tv together for our mom. She had a tiny tv in her bedroom that you could barely see the screen. Mom was very surprised. A year later and there has been no issues with the tv. Works great.

For years we've had a 32" Samsung in our rather small living room. We thought that was the largest we could ever fit into our entertainment unit. However, this new 40" just fits the opening due only about a half inch border on each side of the screen. In one month of ownership, we've gotten good image quality and sound without adding speakers or a sound bar.

Great one for the amount of $297. I am Not able to connect the speakers n woofer to the television but don't know the reason. Also purchased chrome cast along with this, which is proving to be awesome. Resolution is really excellent as it 1080p.

Amazing picture, excellent value. Hard to go wrong with Samsung TVs. We have 4 Samsung HD TVs in various sizes and they are all excellent.

Very easy to set up, The picture is fantastic, and the smart TV features are easy and simple to use. They didn't over complicate anything.

Went in looking to replace a 32 in TV. Saw this one instead. good deal. cant beat a samsung. We love it. Its our 3rd one in our home now!

pros: beautiful, crystal clear display has a gaming mode cons: only 2 hdmi ports no headphone jack please note: this is not a smart TV! this tv is a great product for the money!

I was looking for a smaller TV to put in the bedroom. My local Best Buy had this one on return, in box, graded excellant at a very good price. Although not a Smart TV and slightly bigger than I wanted - it's pretty perfect. And the crew were really helpful putting in it in the car.

Salesman wAs very patient with me as I have no idea on buying a tv. He helped me for over 1 hour and I felt very comfortable with him. He was not pushy and he was very knowledgeable. I need a computer also, hopefully I will visit him soon.

Easy to set up & go. Good rich picture quality and high gloss look. Good size for the money, great for bedroom or mother-in-law.

I bought this tv for my dad who needed a new one for his bedroom. I have several Samsung's myself and I knew he would enjoy it and he has!
