It is a great TV for the price. Clear bright picture. With 4K about to become the standard, I think this TV is good if you want a decent size 1080p TV for an affordable price.

This TV is perfect for what I needed. I use a large TV as a second monitor for my PC, and the old Samsung finally gave up. This was the same size and a whole lot newer. It's not the best picture on the market, or has the most features, but if you want a large second screen this would be an amazing option for you! I considered buying this 2 months ago when it initially went on sale, but then the price dropped again just before Christmas and I decided it was time. Very happy with this purchase.

I recently purchased a Samsung - 40 Class (39-1/2 Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV, to view the Star War series (6 CD set) that I purchased in preparation for the Episode #7, The Force Awakens. The clarity of the characters was unbelievable, the colors - perfect, and my overall impression - great. I have been watching an older TV and cannot believe what a difference a product like this could make on me. I have a bunch of movies and it will be a pleasure now to watch them on such a fine screen.

This TV does the job and has excellent display, I have not fully tested the audio yet, but from what I have heard so far it is pretty darn good. I didn't want a smart tv but now thinking back it might have been a better option instead of using a chromecast mainly for youtube. The TV itself is lightweight yet feels very sturdy, and I like the way the plug bends at a 90 degree angle as well.
