This TV was an open-box item and it was like new when I picked it up. Viewing angle is very wide; picture quality is fantastic; sound is good for an LCD; 40" size was perfect for mounting on fireplace; no motion blur during sports; darks are deep and brights are balanced - no complaints; very happy with this purchase.

I love this TV. It makes me want to upgrade my old TV. So easy to set up, clear picture and perfect for the bedroom.

The sales rep originally "talked us into" buying a SHARP TV. Everything was horrible on it, so we exchanged it for this one. Even the sound quality isn't bad, although we purchased an external sound bar to make it better. The picture quality is much better, we didn't have to tweak it much at all. HOWEVER, the stand the TV sits on is really low quality - you need to "shim it up" with something so it doesn't wobble from side to side. Tightening the screws doesn't help much, you need to reinforce it with something (a piece of styrofoam or something to make it sturdier). This is one of the best TVs we've had.

Nice picture for the most part, just slightly fuzzy depending on the source. Sporting events and video games look great. Sound is decent, although the specs say it has an analog audio output and I cannot find one... Wanted to connect my 5.1 stereo surround. Had to buy a digital audio converter, and can only get 2 speakers to work. Chatted with a Best Buy rep who claims it has analog outputs as well (where?). When I change input sources, it will sometimes play through the TV and speakers, which does not sound good and I have to manually change it. Other than that it fits the room and does the job nicely.

Got this during the black Friday deal in the store, combined deal with a Xbox One bundle. It was an amazing deal and the most pleasant shopping experiences I've had on a black Friday. Wish it had some more features like PIP and such but besides that I love the TV!

This TV has a great picture for the price. The color is great and the set up was easy with my Direct TV receiver.

Nice picture quality, color, etc. One thing I really like about it is its "stretch" picture-sizing option. You know those tv shows or movies that don't fill your screen no matter which zoom level you choose? Well this feature fixes that. You can stretch the picture vertically and horizontally so that it exactly fills your screen. It doesn't seem to distort the picture either. I'm not sure why not. I'm just telling what I "see".

Sharpness is great. Speakers and sound are wonderful. Easy to operate.

My old LG 32" bit the dust so I upgraded to this Samsung 40". What a difference 8" makes. I was a little concerned that the 40" would be too big. But then a friend said did you ever hear anyone say they bought too big of a TV? So I bought it. The Best Buy sales person was great. Answered all my strange questions. Best Buy even recycled my old LG. I am one Happy Customer.
