I bought this TV for my parents for Christmas to replace their old tube TV. There was a little bit of a ghost on the screen when they first hooked it up but once they switched from using component cables to a HDMI cable the ghost went away. Nice size screen, great picture quality and sound.

This television has the best picture that I have ever had on a television. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the sound is not very good but the picture makes up for it. I added a sound bar

For the money I spent I couldn't have found a better TV. It is light weight , easy to set up and easy to use. The picture is great. It's also easy to see in a large room.

Was looking for a basic HD television without all the bells and whistles of a SMART TV. This fit the bill perfectly at a great price. Easy to set up and operate. Have had good success with other Samsung products as well.

Samsung is an excellent brand and produces great products. My new TV has a clear, beautiful picture, great sound and good extra features. The 40" is perfect for my bedroom. Also, I prefer the LED over plasma because I see little reflection on the screen. I would highly recommend this TV.

I bought this TV without the smart features & Roku, because the picture was better. Samsung is a reliable company, and it was on sale plus my Shopkicks gift certificates made it super cheap for a great product, I love it. I can plug in my laptop or use my Blue-Ray for the internet.

The TV was easy to set up and has a great picture. We needed it to replace a too small television in the bedroom. Was a little reluctant to get a 40 inch, but have no regrets. The sales person at Best Buy was extremely helpful. Knowledgeable, and not pushy. He sold us a great product.

Love the ease of setup with TV. I was so shocked to find TV at the price I did. I had been looking for a new TV for a while but didn't want to buy one just to buy one because it was cheap and I was over elated when i saw this Samsung for under $300 for a 40 inch, which is the side I wanted. *I'm usually not that quick to make a decision* however I do have some issues from time to time when trying to watch my Firestick but I'm not sure if it's my Firestick or the USB outlet on the TV. Usually, I have to just wiggle the cord s little bit and the Firestick turns on but besides that everything just about everything is perfect. I love the sound option as well because I have roommates and the walls are very thin, so I like that the TV will adjust volume auto so I don't have to. Happy with his purchase

Great tv at a reasonable price. Sound and picture are both excellent. Once the initial set up is complete tgis tv is very easy to use. Gave it 4 stars instead of five because users manual is not very clear or well writenen in regards to initial set up and connection to cable service in my opinion. I was able to figure it out in less than 1/2 an hour on my own though.

Smooth purchase, easy set-up, picks up cable instantly. Great picture. Only small negative in early-going is that picture quality is paler if viewed more than 30 degrees off-center either way. But no big deal in my setting.

This TV is a lot smarter than we are but we were able to set up and get started without too much trouble. The picture is great and it is a perfect addition to our living room.

I needed a Display for a tech show so I did I quick search through my Best Buy app. This product exceeded expectations. Simple setup. Great picture. Great features. Incredible price. Solid UX and great menu flow. Very happy

I got this TV for free after purchasing a Samsung uhd TV. In my opinion anything Samsung puts out TV wise will be top notch. I don't expect anything different with this tv

I wanted a new TV for my recreation room and did not have a lot to spend. When I saw a40 inch Samsung at 279. I was impressed. Other sets were cheaper but did not have great reviews. The research I did pointed me to a Samsung and for the size and price it turned out to be perfect..

good picture. easy setup. solid base. menus are fairly easy to follow.

TV was very easy to set up. However, I was not aware that speakers were in the back and I may have to purchase speakers to go with my Samsung TV model. So far, the sound seems to be O.K. HD is wonderful and TV is very streamlined not bulky looking. Great for a small table top in my den. I am enjoying it very much.40" screen is just the right size for my den room.

Great picture, sound, and color. Would highly recommend this product.

Great clarity and great for gaming, couldn't go wrong for the Xbox bundle price.
