for the money, this is a great tv. it has awesome picture and sound quality and i love the media connect feature. most tvs only let you do music and photos from a usb stick, this lets you do movies and video too! thinking about ordering 1-2 more for different rooms in the house!

We replaced our 20 year old 27 inch Sony Trinitron TV with this model and it fits the space perfectly and provides good picture and compatibility with our direcTV and our other components.

This tv was purchased for a vacation home and for the price it was a great deal. The picture is what you would expect from Samsung as are the easy menu and controls. This is not the extremely thin model, if that matters in selection. However, the picture quality is outstanding.

This Samsung was a great replacement for the 30" Sony I bought a couple of years ago after the flatcsreens lowered in price. The 40" screen is much easier to see from across the room and it was also easy to mount to my existing wall mount and hook up to my stereo and DVD player.

Decent product for a decent price. I have not experienced any problems with this television since I've purchased it. Easy set up and simple operation. Only four stars for lack of more HDMI inputs. A very basic television with no bells and whistles, but good at what it does.

Got this on sale, and it's been an excellent TV. I mostly watch Netflix and play the PS4 on it, and it's just been a terrific television. Even on game mode, it's got a really crisp, clear picture with vivid color. Highly recommend if you can get it for around 350, like I did.

tried sharp brought it back for samsung.the set had a better picture with deeper colors. i like the options that are available but not listed on the box. i connected a usb hard drive and a chromecast i feel the set has everything it needs. i did splurge on the extended warranty because one year on a high dollar item is rediculous.

This is my 4th Samsung TV that I own. Excellent picture and sound. Best buy had s great price at the time that I couldn't refuse so I upgraded to a 40 in screen. All of my samsung TV 's I never had a problem with.

I already own an older model samsung led TV which I am very pleased with so I felt confident in purchasing this one as a gift. Great quality, price and value. I know there are other TV's with high tech specs but based on basic led TV's I gave it an excellent rating.

the 40 in. replaced a 36 in 10 year old plasma, this has a much better, and clearer picture.

Was purchased with another identical TV to replace and serve as my side by side computer monitors. Works wonderfully! Clarity, ease of set-up... all very good and easy. Personal opinion is that this is a great TV for the price and from a trusted manufacturer, Samsung.

It replaces an older, heavy Panasonic and fits our cabinet perfectly. We love the quality of the picture, my husband doesn't need to wear his glasses to watch. The compatability with our satellite receiver, and simple on screen directions makes it easy to set up.

This tv set is really nice. I got the 40" set and picture is beautiful. I had a smaller size Samsung TV before this one & felt the same way about it. So far no problems with the tv & I am enjoying watching my programs in HD on this tv screen. Absolutely fascinating.

The TV has worked great. Easy set up right out of the box. The picture is surprisingly good for the low cost you pay. This TV is plenty good for an average TV watcher.

I was looking for a good picture. I love my tv. Picture is great. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone looking to make a purchase. If u plan to mount on wall I would recommend getting the one that tilts and moves. Great tv in picture and sound for the price.

I purchased the TV as a gift for my mom on Mother's Day and after setting it all up for her I wish I woulda kept it for myself and gave her my old one!! The picture quality is superb and the smart features make it easy for mom to catch up on all her streaming shows!
