I think the TV is an exceptional value. I mainly watch sports on it in my office. I own better TVs, but it performs very well in relation to it's price. The profile is perfect for hanging off the wall. I like the picture and color and haven't really messed with the settings much, as it's pretty good in stock form. The speakers sound decent too and made it the perfect buy for my purposes. I have been overall quite pleased with this purchase.

To begin with, I am a serious Samsung fan. I not only have a Samsung cell phone, but I also have a tablet and now a TV. It was so easy to set up. I have another brand TV that was not as easy to set up. This was definitely simple. It was a plug and play type situation. The picture is extremely clear. I have it paired with a Samsung blu-ray player, and it works seamlessly. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!

When we first started looking for a replacement TV we purchased an Insignia because of the price point. From the get go it gave off such an awful odor that we ended up taking it back. We decided to spend a little extra and purchase a Samsung. So happy that we did! The clarity of the picture and color is fantastic! There is definitely a difference in the quality of TV's. Best Buy was also very helpful in the return/ exchange process!

My parents needed to replace their 17 year old Sony TV which cost them around $1,000 at the time. I own two Samsung TV myself and wouldn't purchase any other brand right now. I bought them this 40" Samsung HD 1080 and they love! I love it! My next Samsung will be a Samsung Smart TV. But for my elderly parents, best TV for the best price. Great value and excellent, dependable, easy to set up product. Best Buy is the BEST, too.

I'm very happy with this purchase. I was looking for a smaller TV for the bedroom, and I compared this model to a number of others in various price ranges. This one has a great picture at a great price, and still looks good when viewed at an angle. It was also very easy to set up, and the controls are easy to understand.

I love this Samsung. I have a larger TV (55") in my family room and this one will be going into my den upstairs. Perfect size for the room and again a great picture. Can't go wrong with a Samsung. The price was great since I got it during the Black Friday Sale.

I normally don't buy Samsungs; however, this model has really great picture and vivid color. Great buy. I only gave it a four star rating because it only has 2 HDMI ports and normally now a days you need about 3, but other then that this is a great HDTV!

I needed a new television for my bedroom. This 40 inch TV is a perfect fit. Color quality is excellent. Sound is great. And for $300 how could I possibly beat it? I think the TV weighs less than 20 pounds so putting it on my new TV stand was a breeze. This is my first Samsung product so far so good.

I got this TV as a birthday gift from my friends and I love it! Great picture, set-up was super easy. The base was easy to attach (couple screws) and the menus are easy to follow. I bought an Amazon Firestick for the TV so that I could stream videos and Netflix. This TV is perfect for the bedroom!

This purchase exceeded my expectations because it not only met my needs for a Television, but filled additional roles as an added monitor for my laptop and a monitor for working out digital signage projects I'm working on as well. Simple set up and beautiful picture at a low, low price.

this TV was purchased for my mother in law in her room at the nursing home. the setup was easy and the picture quality / sound are very good. i liked this tv and would buy again for another application.. not my main viewing system, but somewhere else... it was a good value on sale.

Really, for the price it is a great deal. Wonderful picture, easy setup, and performs fine. I got it for the picture, not the (smart) features. No disappointments at all.
