This is a perfect led TV for a medium sized room. Picture is clear and crisp. Remote is easy to operate, and set up is a snap. This TV rates a 9 out of a 10. The only thing that could be improved is the sound. You have to set the volume past midrange to really hear it. Other than that, I'm 100 percent satisfied! (Best buy had a very good price on this TV.)

I needed to replace my LG which finally died, and I looked at a lot of different models as possible replacements. I was locked into the 40" size due to the TV nook over my fireplace. I didn't need all the bells and whistles of a smart tv, and opted for the Samsung LED HD. It was easy to set up and works like a champ. Very happy with my purchase.

It stands Samsung's standard. As a basic TV, nothing is fancy about it, but clear picture and better than average sound are all we need. I bought it on sale at $329+tax, well worth it. One more thing like to mention, it is quite light and can be easily moved by the elders.

We like the size and weight. Clear picture and great sound.

I bought this tv for my dad who recently moved into a nursing home. I didn't want anything technically complicated. The main thing I was looking for was a sharp, clear picture and a reasonable price. This tv is just what I was looking for. My dad loves his new tv, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It fits our needs perfectly!

I replaced another HD TV, and could tell this picture was better immediately. The "easy set up" process was just that - less than 5 minutes even with picture adjustments. I have set in a small room so any degradation with angle viewing is not noticeable. I did not need "smart" features - so the price point on this set was very good.

I bought this TV based on brand and price. This TV exceeded my expectations because of picture quality, sound, and versatility. It has a USB port to plug in a flash drive. I used to burn movies onto discs and watch them using my PS 3. Now I just transfer them to the flash drive. I save money on buying discs, and wear and tear on my computer and PS 3! Because this model isn't a smart TV, I plug in my Google chromecast in one of the HDMI ports and stream content from my smart phone. There's even an option called "cast screen" which allows me to see exactly what i see on my phone on the TV screen! This way I can share what I'm viewing on my phone without having them to look at a small screen! The sound quality and volume is amazing! It also exceeded my expectations because I have a 40" Samsung soudbar and wireless subwoofer and I don't even use it now! Overall, an awesome TV for the price ($329)!

Good picture and sound. Easy to set up. Great Value

This ia an excellent basic 40" class HDTV. I was not looking for a Smart TV in this size. This one provides an excellent picture without having to pay for features I do not need in this set. It was easy to set up, and it is easy to use. Plus I was looking for a Samsung because they have an excellent reputation for quality.

For the price I paid I am extremely happy with this television. I purchased this TV for my brother as a replacement for garbage Sony TV I bought for him that died after only 2 months. This, however, is what I have come to expect from all Samsung TVs. Great picture quality, easy to use and setup, and again, really great price.

We just wanted a basic TV for kids playroom ie. XBOX. We did not need a smart TV as the XBOX can connect to same features. This TV was easy to assemble, hook up, and set-up. It was a fair price and I think good value. No cables/ HDMI cords in box though, wish they would include at least one cheaper HDMI to get started.

I was attracted to this product by the price and the fact that it is Samsung. The use is for a bedroom TV with the watered down version of digital cable so I didn’t want to spend allot. The pro’s: good enough picture with the input type, works well for gaming and sound quality is actually better than a higher level Samsung I own, which is good because I don’t have room for a stereo. The bad: the remote is not one of the programmable Samsung ones that will run cable, the case seems large for the screen size as far as depth and the two HDMI’s run straight out the back. The HDMI’s are a hassle as I planned to do a flush mount on the wall; luckily the mount I purchased had washers to accommodate the plugs, otherwise I would have had to really smash them against the back of the TV. So overall this TV does the job; if you are flush mounting be sure to inspect the back of the TV prior to purchase.

Picture was sharp and clear with very nice color. Did not need setting up, in my opinion. If you are a person that is trying to find a TV to just sit down and enjoy, this is it. Wanted this one for the convenience of antenna hook up, which is really easy. Just plug it in, find the available stations and you are set to go. I am using this in a smaller living room, so the picture is a good size for viewing and the speakers are built in and have enough power to enjoy a quality sound for simple watching. Comes with a base. Was sitting and watching in no time, as it took only about 20 minutes to set up.

Connected to bluray DVD which has wireless connectivity for streaming apps. Did not need smart tv. This one is very good. Nice picture. Easy hook up. Open Box is way to go for $ savings.

After researching Tvs for a few weeks I finally decided on this Samsung. I purchased this after the Black Friday sales and still got a good price. Easy to purchase and set up. I've made a few adjustments for my own personal preferences. Purchased the extra warranty for that just in case moment arises.

Bought for older family member who was wanting to upgrade to a HD flat-screen. TV picture is great, easy to maneuver and setup. They absolutely love it.

Purchased this TV for my office. I didn't need a gigantic screen or a lot of power features, but I wanted to stay in the size and Samsung family of products. Price was also in a good range. Set up was very quick and easy. Nice colors and deep blacks.

For the budget minded, this is a great television. It is a high quality set and getting it on sale makes this a ridiculous value. It is not the coolest most full featured set, but the picture quality is way above the price point.

This is my5th Samsung tv, I buy them for home, vacation home, work and camper. This, like all my others has a picture better than my eyes can see. Love the smart Ty's these days!
