The TV is great, I highly recommend it! But buyers should be made aware of two things -- one, the stand portion requires assembly, with a good Phillips-head screwdriver. You can't just take it out of the box and plug it in. Two, it does not come with the necessary cord to get HD quality with your cable box. If your last TV was HD you may already have this. If not, like me, you will get a very good picture with your coaxial cable, and a better one once you get the HM cord from the cable company or the store.

We bought this tv for the kitchen/dining room and it works great for the distance from the sitting area. Also great for watching while cooking. Since it is not 120 HZ it does not matter since it is just for every day viewing.

Great TV for a great price if you are looking for a basic TV. Love the picture quality of LED. Price match was a very easy process and got a 40" TV for basically a 32" price.

This is the second time I've purchased this TV. It's got great picture and is easy to use and setup. The size suits the room and my needs. High quality product that you will always get from Samsung at a reasonable price

I wanted to upgrade to a regular sized TV & Samsung has always been a great brand to me. The HD looks great & it doesn't take up a lot of space on the shelf. I'm not a expert, but with a screwdriver it only took me less than 20 minutes to assemble the stand & hook it up to the cable box. The remote control & menu setup were easy to understand too. It's a great TV for the bedroom .

Yes I love the new flat panel the color is very vibrant I like that I can get a wall mount to hang on the wall the picture is very sharp and clear I might be buying another one to replace my old television in the near future

I owned a 32 inch 720p Samsung before I made this purchase, and its strictly for my bedroom. I watch a lot of Anime and have to read subtitles. 32 inch just was too much of a strain on my eyes. So I picked up the 40 inch 1080p and it makes such a great difference. I dont have to struggle to read even small print because of the resolution increase and overall size increase. Before I get too carried away, I would recommend anyone looking to upgrade their TV size and possibly resolution to buy this TV without hesitation. The only think I would change is that I wish the Smart TV version of this model was a little less expensive. But I knew what to expect when I made the purchase. I love all Samsung products and plan to keep them as my go to TV products.

We love our Samsung! We did alot of research and this one was the best choice for us. We got it on sale and the price was great, quality and sharpness is amazing!

I needed a tv to replace the unit in my entertainment center, having Samsung units in other parts of my home this one was a natural choice , clarity , color, picture so clear it looks like you are there! Love it!

Purchased this TV to replace our Den TV. Easy hookup and install. Picture is great. This is our second Samsung and would not purchase any other brand of TV.

TV quality is great, sound is great, Samsung always lives up to its name with their TV's. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a TV for a great price.

I am so pleased with this T.V., the picture is outstanding. Colors are rich and vibrant almost looks like people are coming out of the screen. Very impressed and will be purchasing another for the family room.

My Samsung 40" HDTV is without a doubt the best television I've ever owned. The picture is breathtaking and the setup was ridiculously easy! With this price point there is no other set I'd recommend more highly!

I got this as a refurbished item and was pleased to find it looking completely new. Set up was simple, picture looks great. Glad I opted for refurbished rather than new. A really great value.

Got this tv to set up streaming for a den. My husband is visually disabled and the picture quality is such that he can see the screen well. The set up for streaming was also very easy. Would buy this again.

This TV was easy to set up, light-weight, and has a great picture. It works well with my streaming media player. This price was well within my budgeted amount.

Purchased this for the living room of my new 5th wheel camper. It is light weight and does not give off much heat. I was impressed by the picture quality. I have had great luck with all my Samsung products.

If you don't need a smart tv or 120 frame per sec than this is a good value tv

Pros: Good picture quality, nice price,easy to set up Cons: No RCA audio out jacks must buy digital to audio converter to connect to legacy receiver,speakers mounted on bottom resulting in poor sound output.

The TV is an excellent choice. All the bells and whistles that it has is fantastic. I am loving this TV. The picture is very clear and it was easy to set up
