I bought this TV for use in master bedroom. It has a clear bright picture and rich sound. Was very easy to set up. Just the right size for this room.

This TV has an extremely clear picture. It is very light and was a breeze to set up. Can't go wrong with Samsung

I had no idea that my other 40" TV had such a poor picture quality until I bought this one to replace it. It's great and the price was excellent!

This TV is a perfect size for any where, but especially for me in the bedroom. It can be easily seen whether lying down or sitting up in bed. The picture is clear and the color is realistically sharp.

I've only ever used Samsung for my HDTVs and this TV will keep me coming back. Great picture quality, intuitive controls, and extremely lightweight.

This 40-inch television fit my needs for my mom's bedroom. The picture is very sharp and clear and the set-up was easy too. My mom doesn't use the Internet, so I had no need to get her a smart tv.

I went to best buy looking for a 32" TV however as I did not need another SMART TV I opted to purchase this larger model as well. The picture is good for this price point. Might also make a good gaming TV for your kids. Although you may want a higher refresh rate

Samsung 40 inch had way better picture quality than other tvs with similar specs. Easy set up and connect to bluray player. No backlight on the remote with mine still give 5 stars the tv is wonderful!

This was purchased as a gift for my parents for Christmas. It is perfect for what they will be using it for, which is television dramas and news programs. It has a good picture, and is remarkably lite.

Look at several sites before deciding to purchase this TV. Easy to set-up. Excellent replacement for our bedroom. Would have rate it a 5 stars, except for the speaker volume & quality. For regular TV, now problems generally. When watching movies (HD), not so good.

installed this tv in a large bedroom. It was easy to install and set up. We watch it from a longer than normal distance. The picture is good and seems to be better than average from a distance.

Great 40" Samsung 1080p HDTV can't beat the price was super easy to set up. Only con would be that the stand that comes with the tv is a little wobbly other then that a great tv from Samsung.

This is excellent for the money. I purchased it on sale for $279.99. At that price you can't go wrong for a 40" LED TV. Clear picture while watching regular programs or sports. On occasion the picture does get a bit pixelated on fast moving scenes but, to be fair, I did choose to buy this TV with the 60hz refresh rate and not upgrade to a higher refresh rate. There are also plenty of eq options to tailor the sound to your preference.

So happy with this TV, the picture is bright and crisp and the set-up was incredibly easy, even adding the Directv remote was simple. Samsung goes to the top of my list for future purchases.

My wife wanted to go cheap and get a substandard TV for the bedroom. I convinced her to get this and it was a great purchase. The quality is outstanding and makes watching football awesome when she is downstairs watching one of her shows!

I love this tv. I bought it because of the great price, but I love the picture and sound. Crisp and high quality. Would highly recommend.

Great picture and viewing angle. Samsung is a reputable brand as evidenced through the products they sell. They sell themselves. The only problem that my mom is experiencing, is the audio cuts out momentarily every 5 minutes. This only occurs on 1 of the local channels (Comcast), all other channels are no problem. I tried switching from channel 3 to 4 and it worked for a month or so. I can watch the same channel OTA without any hesitation. In conclusion, this review is not negative towards Samsung, but a minor problem I can't figure out.

I just wanted to upgrade from my a 26inch SAMSUNG TV and this is just the perfect product. Its not very expensive and a good choice for people who don't want to spend money on a smart TV.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Okay sound and great picture quality. I do wish it could rotate without lifting and turning the whole base, but its lightweight makes that easy enough.

Before I bought this tv, I did a lot of research and this one got my attention. I am so happy with my purchase, great picture, great sound, easy to navigate, plain and simple, awesome
