Good picture as with all Samsungs. Smart TV interface is improved but is still slow compared to ROKU or my LG.

Nice color, great for watching sports. Smart tv so great for NetFlix, etc. Was easy to setup and start watching.

Great TV, amazing picture and sound. I'm rating the product with four stars because of the not so "universal" remote control. If you have to switch channels the remote can't help you go from channel 4 to 67 easily. There is no numerical keypad! It's all menu driven and switching from cable box to dvd player, or sound system is a hassle. You still end up with a bunch of remotes in your hands. It is a definitely a step back from the models that are 4-5 years old.

I brought this tv for my daughter's room and she loves it. It's the right size and the video quality is amazing!

I purchased this television to use primarily as a second monitor for my HP Spectre x360 15 inch 4K laptop. Once I plugged in the HDMI cable the picture displayed was flawless and with the larger screen displaying the proper resolution I felt that I have been more productive...without the hassle of having to mess with the laptop display setting to scale a better image than a television displays. In addition, I have my PS4 and Directv 4K mini Genie connected. The television has a gaming mode that I use when I play console games via PS4 and works very well with very little noticeable input lag and very little loss of display quality. I have played games without the gaming mode and there is a bit of noticeable lag, but to be quite honest is not that bad. The Directv picture comes through beautifully and the 4K channel content is stunning. Lower content appears to have been "scaled" up to 4K, which is appreciated but not really necessary...since I watch mostly 720p, 1080i and 1080p programming. Once more 4K content becomes available I feel this television will more than pay for itself.

I purchased this television for my mother-in-law who is a senior. She did not want something bigger than 40". I did some research and most specs and reviews on this item were very good. She loves the new tv, which is a good view, and easy controls, especially for seniors. Colors are consistent and vibrant. Factory settings can use a little adjustment, particularly the auto dimming, which is very sensitive, but not a big deal if you don't mind a small effort.

Swapped this out for a 55 inch TV to have something smaller in TV room. Love the size and quality. Very happy.

This is a good size for our living room and the picture comes in clean and crisp. We're still trying to figure out how to adjust colors to my taste but otherwise this is a great TV. I like how simple it is to navigate between the different apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc). If you have a Samsung phone, there's also a way to control the TV directly from your cellphone. It has decent speakers so I don't feel the need to get external speakers to boost the sound.

You can't go wrong with this Smart TV. Picture is fantastic, audio is awesome, user friendly etc. Had an initial issue with Samsung apps not downloading. Googled the issue & it was an issue many people had. With some tweaks & restarting multiple times i got it to work. The TV comes in all different sizes too.

The picture is very good, and having 3 HDMI ports is great. However, the menu pops up at the bottom third of the screen every time you turn it on, and it covers a good chunk of the screen. It stays there for way too long before it goes away. It’s also easy to change the source or settings accidentally. It’s annoying enough to bring my rating down from a 4 to a three, but it might not bother someone else at all. If you’re constantly changing the source back and forth from a cable box to gaming, etc you might really like the menu popping up.

Bought this as an upgrade from a 25" HDTV for my bedroom. Great picture and easy to see from anywhere in the room. Plenty of outlets for multiple devices. SmartTV ability makes it where other devices stayed powered down unless needed. Only downside is the built-in speakers have almost no bass.

Spectacular image, and so easy to use. i love all the built in apps. The voice operated remote is a plus!

My husband and I love this TV so much we enjoy that it's so clear and you can see the little defects that the people in the tv have, its great to know that they are not actually perfect. I love that this tv offers move new programs that excepts the 4K. My husband loves to see the animal documentaries and he love the colors and the depth of the picture.

The best images and high definition tv ever. Great sound and great for just cable tv or nextflix or dvd.

Like the picture a lot, a little trouble with coordinating our charter remote with the Samsung remote. I am not a techie and the directions were to the best in setting everything up.

Our 11 year old Samsung LCD gave up the ghost. My wife and I were looking for a new TV. We found this 40 inch Samsung 6 series to be a good value. Since it is a Smart TV I may be able to convince her to finally cut the cord. The picture is good and the features are great for a low price TV.

The picture is so clear! My daughter described it perfectly. She said it's like looking out a window!
