I can’t say enough about Samsung TVs. I’ve owned 3 so far and every one is perfect. I still have one from 12 years ago and it works like i just bought yesterday. I really enjoy the smart features on this tv. Great WiFi connectivity. Great picture. Mediocre sound. A sound bar would be better. The remote is annoying. I wish there were more buttons.

Very intuitive, great picture and ease of use is outstanding.remote works very easily and works a lot of my additional products, even my Samsung soundbar.

So I was in sure of a TV to replace my 6 year old, Inspiria 32" 720p TV, that is way behind when it comes to modern technology. I wanted something that wasn't too large, but also would be big enough to view from about 8-12 feet away and not look minuscule. I will be using this TV inside my bedroom for the next month, until I go away to college, where I will be taking it with me. It seems like a great companion to take on my extended stay away! I also wanted something in 4K that would allow me to be update to date with today's technology. I stumbled upon this Samsung 40" TV which seemed to meet my requirements. Being that it is a Smart TV was a bonus! I was planning on using my connected Xbox One to view media such as Netflix and YouTube, however with the Smart TV Capabilities, I don't need my Xbox at all. Also as another extra bonus is the universal remote that comes with the TV. Upon setting up the TV, the remote prompted me automatically to use it with my Xbox One, this feature blew my mind and I was very appreciative that Samsung included it.

This tv has an outstanding picture and was east to set up. The remote is easy to understand and use. This was a good deal on an outstanding tv.

The 4K ultra has a much better picture than the 1080 led I had before. The remote took me a little time getting use to because it was so small.

The picture looks great. The remote control is my first voice activated and is still tricky to me. It will take some getting use to. Over all for a 4K TV in a 40" class the choices are limited and this Samsung will work for me.

This is our second 4K Samsung TV. The picture is amazing watching Netflix in 4K has to be seen to be appreciated. The remote is solid they finally added back a couple of function buttons. The only downfall is the TV sometimes struggles with labeling on inputs, but this could be more operator than the TV. Madden on this TV through the Xbox One S is awesome. The Picture is crisp just like watching live football.

Love the 4K Picture. Insane clarity!!!. Smart features eliminated the need for external devices to access Netflix and other apps!

I bought this on a Black Friday sale, but it wasn’t a doorbuster item. The tv was priced well and the quality is great. After all, it is a Samsung. The great part is that it comes with Bluetooth and the smart remote. A lot of other “good deals” on LG or Samsung’s don’t tell you right off the bat what is missing, just what’s included. I like to know about what is missing from one TV but included with the other. Sometimes you don’t realize the features you’re missing out because they market it as “smart” but that doesn’t mean it’s the “smartest” with all the cool bells and whistles..until it’s too late and you’re stuck with a tv you will probably need to upgrade within the next year anyways. Do your research!

Not all 4k TV are born equal. Nowadays a 4k TV is as much as TV as a computer. Almost all 4k TV have good enough screen to support 4k display. Yet the CPUs that're in the heart of massive amount of data processing inside 4k TV are frequently inadequate. If you buy a 4k TV with slow CPU inside, the TV will hiccup from time to time as CPU struggle to catch up. Old movie will not be up-scaled adequately. So everytime you see a cheap 4k TV, you better check if it has a poor CPU to match it's cheap price. Although this TV is last year's model but the data processing speed is amazing. Everything is smooth. Old movie shines. Installation was easy. The TV almost entirely depend upon on-screen instruction and manipulation. I'm totally fine with the design but some people may have trouble with the minimum number of buttons on the remote control. The TV also can sense if any attached equipment such as Blueray player turning on, and turns on automatically to the active video source. The wifi receiver is pretty capable too. The TV's color representation is quite good, if not the best. This Samsung 4k TV is a true bargain.

Great TV for a bedroom or area that does not need a large screen. Good color rendition. Easy to set up.

Instead of the least expensive 40-inch tv that I was looking at, I asked the salesman which tv he would buy for the value, and he showed me a somewhat more expensive one in a different aisle that had a much clearer picture. I am so happy with my 40-inch Samsung tv. He rang it up, got a cart for me, and had someone help me get it to my car. I was out the door within, I believe, 15 or 20 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgable, and caring!

We purchased this TV to replace our older Sony HD TV and are very happy with the picture quality. The color is amazing! It was very easy to set up and the voice activation on the included remote is pretty neat. The menu options are fairly intuitive. Overall an excellent TV for the price.
