My son took this to college. Great TV, great price. The only slightly negative comment would be the sound could be better. On a scale of 0-10, 10 being GREAT, I would give the sound quality a 6.

I think it is exactly what you would expect for a TV that is $300. It does have a great picture. It only has 1 analog input that can be used for either component or composite video. That kind of stinks.

We find the color and sharpness or resolution excellent. When standing in front of the line-up of various tvs in Best Buy, this one stood out far and above.

This is the largest tv I've ever owned. I'll be curious to see how long this lasts. I had a 720p and upgraded to a 1080p. It's great and as large as I will ever get. I'll keep it as long as I can.

Smart tvs are the way to go! This one right here is one id recommend to anyone looking for a good Safe brand.

My wife and I bought this tv and we are very happy!

Easy setup. WIFI setup and connect was simple and quick. Picture quality not quite as vivid and color rich as my Vizio TVs. The video controls are almost at max to get the picture I'm accustomed to.

This is our second smart samsung TV. Both are the same which makes it easier when using each. Connecting to the internet easy. Picture quality great.

The picture quality on this TV is better than I am used to, but there are so many things to learn in order to take advantage of everything. I am enjoying trying a couple of new things everyday.

Had a 26" in bedroom. Wanted something bigger. Went with a 32" and it still seemed small. Got the 40" and for my size room it worked out great.

Samsung makes good televisions but I have one glaring annoyance with the company that will likely prevent me from buying another Samsung tv until they change this: they do not update their Smarthub adequately. New streaming apps come out often enough but if your Samsung smart electronics are more than a year old, it is not likely your purchase will can download a newer streaming app. And if you have an idea to contact Samsung's customer service for assistance, save yourself a headache and don't do it - they are useless.

We bought this tv for our back deck. It fits perfectly above the fireplace. The picture is great and makes for a relaxing evening on the back deck.

Purchased this Samsung 40" Smart TV for a rental condo, so the tenants can live stream movies, etc. Easy set up and good picture quality for the price.
