As luck and the fates would have it, the very old 27" CRT TV that graced our bedroom gave out the evening before! The Samsung installed very quickly and so far has worked perfectly! As I said, "more importantly, my wife LOVES it" and that is what it was supposed to do!

It seems that the people on-screen are distorted-all kind of short and stocky. I don't know why that is. This is the first flat screen I've had. I was disappointed to find that all the the internet programs have an extra fee-I thought I'd be able to watch Hulu. The HDMI cable is expensive. I at least want to be able to watch UTube, but I'll need to wait until I can buy the cable.
