I bought "Open box" TV at. A special ptice. Tv arrived in good shape and quite quickly But was missing power cord. Several calls to so called customer service resulted in an opportunity for us to purchase a cord for $7.50. Most of our appliances in our two homes have been purchased at Best Buy but never again. Last week I purchased a refrigerator for $3000 at Lowes because of the rude and ridiculous attitude of Best Buy customer service and will never enter another of their stores .

Practically brand new TV was working great all year. 3 weeks after warranty expired it suddenly stopped powering on and is stuck in standby mode. Apparently this is an ongoing Samsung issue based on my research but when I contacted them they denied it was a problem that they were aware of and it would need to be serviced. In this day and age a TV should not stop working after 1 year and 3 weeks of purchase. My LG is about 5 years old and works great!

3 years ago, this TV would be excellent by any standards; however, if you're used to 4k content, I suggest paying more for that technology.

The smart hub on this TV was slow even after updating firmware. Replaced with a Samsung 4K TV which has a surprisingly fast smart hub.

After Geek Squad Tech set it up, it worked until the next day, then TV would give me a message to the effect that it was "preparing" or "getting the settings" to connect with my Internet. The Geek Squad tech tried solutions, but even he had never seen this before. Best Buy stood by their product and let me pick out another TV. I chose a Sony and have had no problems with it!

To make a long story short, the TV connected to the internet but did not properly download content. I had numerous calls, aggregating more than 15 hours, on the phone with Samsung's technical support people and was then told that I needed to take the TV to a repair shop (that is about an hour from my home) which kept the TV for over a week and still didn't fix it. After several more hours on the phone with Samsung, I was then told to take the TV back to the shop. I argued that I wasn't going to spend another four hours taking the TV to, and picking it up from, the shop that failed to fix it the first time and that Samsung needed to send a repair person to my home. Samsung finally agreed to do that. The man who came to my home was great and quickly figured out the problem: the TV couldn't communicate with my 5G network; even though I have several devices that are years old that work fine with the 5G network, I needed to use an older generation network with the brand new "smart" TV. It is disgraceful that Samsung wasted a tremendous amount of my time. By comparison, I am not even that upset that the TV doesn't work with a modern network.

I had cable company set up my tv and all went well with a great picture. I moved this set from a table top to the floor. I held the set using the plastic frame on each side. On the right side my thumb touched the upper right corner. The screen was not cracked or any other sign of damage. The next time I turned on the tv,the screen image was affected .I called SAMSUNG and fortunately the set was still under warranty. I took it to the approved service center where I was told the warranty was void because my thumb pressure on the corner was considered customer damage. I asked if Geek Squad coverage would have covered the tv.The answer was NO because GEEK SQUAD would also consider it customer damage. The set was worthless, too expensive to repair, and I'm still paying off a $400 bill to Best Buy. Pretty irritated at this surprising turn of events. That's why I don't buy warranties...there's always a "gotcha"

had trouble setting it up plus a couple of tec. issues one being you had to keep a light on to get a good picture but after many many calls to geek squad which was no help. And after third call to Samsung finally got it fixed due to the wrong settings from factory.Like the TV but just had problems getting the right help.
