Excellent picture quality, great value for the money. One drawback is that the internal speakers really need amping up. I purchased a sound bar. Too bad most TV manufacturers just assume you already have a sound system in place. Otherwise I would give an excellent rating.

Very impressed with yet another Samsung LED HDTV. This one replaced an aging Sony Trinitron. Easy installation, excellent viewing experience. This is the sixth Samsung device in our house (two HDTVs, two HD computer monitors, and a BluRay player), all performing flawlessly.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this tv and I am glad I did. Samsung makes great tv's and this is no exception. This TV has a great picture and the smart function works great. I only wish that the remote had a "sleep timer" button and "favorite channel" button.

We've only had the 40J6200 for a little over a week, and are impressed with the video quality and the substantial sound (we set it to "music") for small rear-facing speakers. This is our fourth Samsung TV over the last ten years, and have had no problems with any of them.

We ordered this tv as ours was struck by lightning and bought the open box model and we are so glad we did! I love all the capabilities that come with the tv! The picture and sound are great and it is just what we were looking for. Price was good too!

TV has great clarity and good Smart technology. Glare will occur in a bright room or near a window so situate accordingly to avoid this.

This is the most awesome television I have ever owned. The picture quality is breath taking. Even though there are not a lot of 4k movies out there it does not take away from the programming you see in HD. The movies look like the actors are in your home.

I had decided it was going to be either a Sony, LG, or Samsung to replace an old tube TV in my computer room. After deciding (and hoping) a 40" would fit I started researching online & reading reviews. The LG was my original front runner, but my reviews & research edged me to this Samsung. The set up was extremely easy and I had it up N running in about 15 mins. Easily paired to my Wi-Fi as well. The picture is very good (as expected) and I'm very pleasantly surprised that the sound is good as is. I have the volume set at 14 and it's fine, not "pingy" at all.

I purchased this TV for my company's office boardroom, and it's doing well. I think if you're going to mount it, you'll encounter no issues. On the other hand, the stand is a bit wobbly. The picture is as expected, and I continue to trust the quality Samsung puts into their TVs. I purchased an out-of-box from Best Buy, and it was a bit banged up upon arrival, despite listing it in excellent condition. This does not take away from the function/quality of the product. If you are looking for an inexpensive Smart TV solution, then I highly recommend this TV!

I like this TV. Beautiful picture, great sound quality, but, I do not have a DVR and I like to go back and watch the daytime shows at night through the internet. (One reason I purchased a SMART TV). You need adobe to do this. Samsung does not support adobe, so I can't watch my shows & you can't watch videos or really anything that needs adobe. If I would have known this I never would have bought this TV.

Good picture quality with a little tuning. Color seemed too warm for me at default settings so made some adjustments for my viewing. 120Hz refresh rate is good for watching sports. Biggest disappointment is the sound - very thin sound. But with today's desire to have no frame around the screen, sound quality diminishes. There is no space to put speakers anymore. Soundbars are an option, but a Samsung sound bar is almost the price of the set, and I'm not sure if it requires yet another remote control, or if I can use the tv remote (I've been given different answers on that topic). Overall a good quality tv for the price. Just don't expect movie quality sound.

Easy for a single, non-techie type female to set up and to put stand on. Great picture. Only thing I wish, is that it had the older style of controls along the top or along the bottom for volume, channel changing, etc. in case your remote stops working.

We were looking for a smart tv for our bar area in the man cave. This fit the bill perfectly at a great price. Worked well with our sound system as well!

I bought this as I own a 32" and 55" Samsung and wanted to keep the same user interface for simplicity. The smart features allow watching Roku without the Roku box. However I have not found a way to add channels such as "history channel" while the Roku box does. The price of $379 was a good deal for this TV.

Made this purchase for the purpose of having it for my bedroom. The size is great, picture quality is nice as well. I like that its a smart tv.

If you're looking for a cheap tv, but one that still looks good. Then this is it. It's lightweight, great 1080p picture quality and a smart tv.

Great picture for the money. My second Samsung of same size, lightning took out my first after three years. Was surprised to get a better one for 600.00 less. I have been very pleased so far.
