We were looking for a TV that fit into a particular size armoire and were replacing an old 35" tube TV. Fits perfectly and we are very pleased with quality of the picture. Great value for the price!

Wow this 40" Samsung has really brought my bedroom to life. I had a 32" Sanyo in before this one and there is no comparison. Only bad thing is that I never want to cut it off after i get in Bed....

Easy set up love that I can use my cell phone and control it. I also am really enjoying the Netflix access right on screen without more equipment!

I'm very pleased with this product. I got this as a birthday gift and also as an upgrade. It's really cool, and the picture quality is very nice.

My daughter wanted a tv for her bedroom. We have always liked the Samsung brand and were able to pick this one up for a very reasonable price.

It took a very long time for a Best Buy sent this tv to me.. It works well so far.. Only smells like something is burning inside of it.. I like that I can watch videos, movies, music and view photos from a USB connection ( connecting my external hard drive directly to the tv, without needing to use a PC or special equipment.

I was amazed at how clear and perfect this picture is. Not grainy, beautiful color. Very pleased with this purchase. If I was in the market for additional TV's - would definitely purchase again.

This is a superior 1080 HD Smart Samsung TV in a convenient size. The picture and sound are superb. It is also economical. This is not my first Samsung TV nor do I expect it to be my last.

Pros: Amazing picture! Virtually edge to edge screen. Connected internet services. It's a Samsung! Cons: Sound from TV could be better. Bluetooth feature would nice for wireless headsets.

When i bought this tv and first tried it out i was like.. welcome to the future of television and the only place to buy it was at best buy, because i wanted it right away and on sale as well !

Bought this tv as a Christmas present for myself.. off of a recommendation from a friend.. very good picture but every once in awhile the sound lags and it seems like I'm watching an old karate movie. But other than that its a good tv..

Just bought a new Samsung - 40" Class (40" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black. As far as TV's go this is a good one. However, I do have the HDMI and the clarity is not as good as expected. Not liking the new power up system on the bottom. Also nice that it's a Smart TV, but I've got really good WiFi through Verizon FiOS and well it makes me feel like I'm back on my old dino computer from 1990. The speed is horrible and annoying that a keyboard doesn't get suggested/offered when you buy it. Hard to use the TV control to do the features. I've got a swivel system which allows me to rotate the TV. (I don't like a wall mount) My issue/concern is finding a TV now that has the thick center base. New style TV's come with 2 legs on the far side of each end. Apparently they were trying to give the TV more stability. NOTE TO SAMSUNG it doesn't! It's also suggested that if you choose not to do a wall mount then you should anchor your TV to the wall. Items needed to do that are not included in the purchase. Also defeats the purpose of my rotation system. My final comment.... I know it's about safety, but why on earth Samsung decided to tilt the TV back on the center stand make no sense. I had to prop it forward with a ruler so I can watch it (not on a bad angle) from my couch. It's still not 100%, but better this way then the way it's set up for. Needs about 1.5 inch adjustment. That was just a silly design! I'm thinking they should slow down on creating change to keep up with the times and work on a correct functioning product.

Had a certain amount to use and I checked different reviews until I found one with all the features that I wanted. And it is a good size.

Samsung 40 inch has a great picture and setup was easy. Smart hub makes it easy to apps and the Internet. But sound quality is lacking.

Well this is not the most expensive choice this is a higher end strong choice with all the state of the art technical specs that you want. Definitely play with the many many adjustments on picture to get the quality and the look that is your personal preference. The 'smart tv' aspect - connecting with the internet- is very easy to operate.

Purchased the 40" Samsung smart tv a month ago & so far I'm pleased with the picture quality & the size for my apartment. I was disappointed with the Samsung customer service though. I was trying to link my iPhone with the tv with screen mirroring, hoping it would be a quick process. It was not. Contacted the Samsung customer service & they were not helpful at all. I was told he only knew how to help with a Samsung smartphone & that I should call Apple to find out what app is compatible with their Samsung TV, and then call Samsung back. I'm sure I'm not the only iPhone user who has called about this issue so I was baffled that they didn't know how to help me.

Would highly recommend this tv for the price well worth it! When you turn the clear motion on the picture is so life like. It's like they are making the movie right in front of you.
