Perfect fit in my new apartment. Doesn't over power the room but big enough and very clear. My first smart tv. Love how easy it is to go from cable to Netflix etc.

I purchased this TV for our bedroom as our 20 YO TV gave out. It was the biggest we could fit for our existing furniture. The price made me think that it would not be top of the line picture, etc. Not only was I blown away by the picture but it looked a whole lot better than our 55" and closer in screen size as it has a very thin border for the screen to almost a full 40"'s. We have found ourselves watching it more than our bigger TV with the smartV feature being so convenient.

This product was a perfect fit for my wife and I. We needed to replace a 27" tube set that after 19 years of faithful service finally went. We had a nice cabinet, and looked for a unit that will fit, and had the picture quality and good sound. This was a overall sucess. What made this better was the smart TV options built in. Now we have Netflix in this room where is was not before. The picture quality is excellent and we are very happy with it.

Bought 2 of these to replace some smaller aging TV's. Great picture, light weight and thin. Easy to mount on the wall. The feature I love is it can wake you in the morning with its built in sleep/wake timers. It is also a smart TV and includes apps to stream Netflix or Amazon Prime. It has built in WIFI so it's easy to get it connected to the web.

Sharp picture and easy to use. Lightweight. Sound quality wonderful. Great size for an average room.

The refresh rate is so fast, he watches with me. Great picture and simple setup for all the subscription services. So glad we got a Samsung.

I find this TV the perfect size for our living room. Great color and clarity. Ease of use switching from TV to apps. Easy to set up.

I purchased this during the Black Friday period and got a really good deal. Set up was easy and the picture is fantastic. This is my first HD TV, so going from the old style picture tube to this was a quantum leap. Even so, I can tell this is a great picture. I've been watching the progress of improvements in TVs for a while and was very apprehensive about picture quality especially in high activity shots like sports, talking about the lag and pixelation. I've have seen none of that with this set. I have noticed the "soap opera affect" a bit with some tv shows but I can live with that. I'm really happy so far with this set.

Just what you would expect from Samsung. Good quality TV - picture and sound. Easy to navigate the on screen menus. Easy to set up, from opening the box to watching TV in under 15 minutes! Only drawback, I found out all new TV's no longer swivel on the base. Older TV's allowed the base to stay in position and the screen to move left or right for better viewing. I guess it is a safety issue, or maybe a little less expensive to remove the swivel feature. Still a great TV and value!

I bought this TV on sale and it is definitely serves its purpose. The picture is nice and clear, the smart features are easy to use and its fairly light. I didn't give it 5 stars because the tv tends to "lean" back while on the stand. Its like the stand was not built correctly so it forces the tv to lean back. But if you hang it, this won't be noticed! I would still recommend.

As always, Samsung delivers a great panel. I have this TV in my bedroom and it looks and sounds great. The 'smart tv' aspects are great. I watch netflix and plex on it all the time. It's great. My only complaint is the user interface isnt the most ideal... but as a developer who has a knack at human engineering, I'm an overly tough critic and there's nothing really wrong per say, I just think it could be... just a little better/easier. I have a samsung TV with the remote that acts like a WII remote... this TV does not come with that... but honestly it's gimicy and I use it about as much as the wii (which is hardly ever). Looks great though... Nice and crisp... has a lot of post processing effects if you are into such things. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars due to the user interface. They can step it up and make it more friendly and warm feeling to use, but like I said... I'm hard with user interfaces.

I have purchased Samsung LCD and LED TVs in past, but not with the Color Enhancement of this newer model. The range of color is great. It makes most high definition programs and blue-ray DVDs have a greater depth of field and makes it feel like your almost there. Best picture I've seen for the price. The Smart features are adequate and meet my needs sufficiently. The size is perfect for a bedroom and could be just fine for a smaller living room or den.

TV was easy to set up and the self programming steps on the screen were simple to follow without ever reading the manual. I connected the TV to Directv, Internet, Netflix's etc.. within thirty minutes. TV takes to long to boot-up and the sound is okay. Once TV is running it has a sharp clear color screen and fun to watch movies and sports. Good value for the price I paid.

good picture and great features the smart function is a little slow on facebook but you get used to it. easy set up and perfect size for a bedroom

We bought this to replace an older set in my daughter's bedroom. Best Buy offered a good price. It is light weight, making it easy to carry, and also to set up. Programming the cable remote control to work with this television took only a few minutes. My daughter was pleased with the result. The set appears to have great picture and sound quality.

Excellent picture quality and easy set up. Love the TV. My only "heads up" is that the TV comes with an Eco-mode that automatically dims the screen when it is in a very dark room (like a bedroom at night). It dimmed the screen a little too much for my tastes, so I turned it off. You can do that pretty easily through the settings menu, but I have seen other reviews from confused folks who didn't realize that the TV has that feature.

was looking for a 40 inch samsung to replace the samsung we had bought 8 years ago to mount above fireplace in dining room. This one seems to be a good choice. Not expensive, fair picture and sound, light weight. Was disappointed the stand did not swivel, since I wanted to set it on mantle first but otherwise no negatives about this purchase.

Good picture. Has lots of bells and whistles. I just watch tv. Am happy with it. Good price.

I was looking for a good TV which had good display and sound. I went to Best Buy store and after looking thru different TVs found this one to match my expectation. It's been 3 weeks now and I am happy with it. Youtube app works great. Network connectivity is also good. Fast moving scenes are good as well since it has 120Hz refresh rate.

Used to always buy Sony but last few years have found Samsung to be up there with them for quality but better value. Selected this as I want TV with 120hz refresh rate and this was the lowest spec Samsung to satisfy this criteria. The picture quality is pretty good but the auto-dimming feature makes the screen too dim so I turned that off. I've noticed it takes a minute or 2 to establish an internet connection after switching it on which is a pain but in general I'm pretty happy with it.
