This TV is smart and has USB ports. The color and definition is fantastic. Super easy to unpack and install. Universal mount on the rear fit our old 32" Samsung TV mount. Just about the same physical size as the old TV with the screen size increased to the edge of the TV. Best picture quality for the size and money.

We have now purchased 3 Samsung Smart TVs. One for the family room one for the bedroom and now one for our son. They have been nearly trouble free. Great picture for any class. No problems in low light. Sounds a lot better than a lot of flat screens that friends and relatives have purchased. They fall right in the middle of the range for pricing even at regular price, but have features and quality that beat most of the higher priced sets. My next TV will probably be another one.

Good picture quality and ease of use. Apps aren't that great as the selection is a little biased. Not as much choice.

I have owned Samsung televisions for many years and I purchased this television to replace a 32 inch 720 Samsung, which was around eight years old and beginning to become dark on the upper third of the screen. This 40 inch, 1080 HDTV by Samsung is an improvement in all ways over my old television, especially when watching motorsports (due to the 120 refresh rate).

We researched this tv before buying it. The picture is spectacular, the Internet feature is fantastic, the settings are easy to customize. Setup was a little intense but that's because we didn't know what we were doing (had to wait till hubby left so I could do it without his "advice")-once went on forum figured out our mistakes and this wonderfully clear, sharp picture appeared. The tv does adjust to your light conditions in the room, so please take this into account-if you like it a certain brightness and sharpness, the settings allow you to easily adjust this. I couldn't figure out how to connect component cables to DVD player but my daughter pointed out I had an extra hdmi imput on the dvd that I could use to attach to my extra imput on the tv. Love those children! My only suggestion would be to not confuse a smart tv with a roku smart tv-there's a difference and so we either have to attach our roku player to the tv to access certain stations without going on the Internet to view, or we have to use the Internet feature of the tv to do so. I prefer the roku and so a little more research about what constitutes a smart tv would've eliminated this situation. Will just get a roku smart stick instead, since we use the roku on another tv. If you don't mind not having a roku tv, then get this one.

This, as most Samsung TV's, has a fantastic picture. I had looked at other TV's in the same price range, but when it came down to it, none could touch the value of this TV. It's a 6 series, I already had a larger 7 series, and I thought the 6 may be just as good, just a little smaller. I think the SmartTV OS performs better, though than my 7 series. They didn't just make the 6 series and put them on the shelves and move to the 7. They kept updating the 6 series from what I've seen. With the Motion Rate of 120 and resolution 1080p, you do get a superb picture. The built-in WiFi performs quick and solid as well. For a 40" Smart TV under 400, you can't beat this. Stop looking.

We upgraded from a smaller non-smart Samsung that developed a screen problem. The cost of fixing it was more than buying a new improved model. All my TVs are Samsung: dependable, easy to set up, no problems save the marked screen (which barely was noticeable). I highly recommend Samsung in general, this TV model also. My only "complaint" is that it did not have a swivel base as my prior one did.

Great HD 40" Samsung 1080p LED television; worth paying a little more and getting the 120 refresh rate. My BluRay movies work at 1080p and are amazing. I can't really tell the difference on Direct TV channels. They don't broadcast in 1080p, they are 1080i or less; but it is a nice large screen and the clarity is much better than my 32" 60hz Samsung.

Good picture, pretty easy wireless or wired set up. Recommend getting a wireless extender that plugs into wall that has Ethernet port - this allows a wired connection to the smart tv. Has been more reliable than wireless. Limited to Samsung apps unless you purchase fire tv, Apple TV, etc. For the Black Friday price, this is a very good TV.

This Samsung black 40 Class (40 Diag.),1080p, (UN40J6200AFXZA) LED Smart HDTV:has a crisp,sharp picture, and you can watch streaming videos or update social media from your TV screen. It does everything I expect it to do, and it does it all well. Samsung televisions are one of the best and most consistent of all TV brands, plus, it was on sale.

I wanted to buy my mom something really special for her 60th birthday and figured replacing the old tube TV in her bedroom would be a good idea. I wanted a TV with a very clear/crisp picture (since my mom's vision is not great) and that would provide easy user-friendly access to Smart TV features (so my mom can use Netflix without relying on someone else to get to the menu for her). The T.V. was a big hit and she loves it.

This is by far the best TV I have owned. This is the second Samsung I have purchased. The first thing I realized about this set is that the weight of it has been significantly reduced it is a 48 in set and is at least half the weight of my 50 in set. I picked this particular model because it had the SMART features. I do not have cable TV and I wanted a way to stream movies without having to be plugged directly into my PC. This software is amazing it took about 5 minutes to set up the programming to receive from my wireless network. It is the most user friendly set ever. I would recommend this to all senior citizens like myself to cut the high costs of cable TV.

Great smart tv and great size at a great open box price.

I have other Samsung TVs and this purchase was not a replacement. I didn't want the 4K models because I would have to change my Dish programming to get the true 4K, along with running different cable. The refresh rate and vivid colors are AWESOME! Crystal clear, true to life colors make it seem like you're sitting with the people on the screen! Great sound, although like most new TVs, if you want to really beef up the sound you might want to add a sound bar but for me it works great even in my large living room. I wanted the higher refresh rate that this model offers so I was happy when I found this TV at Best Buy. I would definitely recommend this TV to others and would buy it again!

What can I say? Beautiful large screen TV. Excellent picture quality. It was very easy to set up the "Smart" TV. I can't believe how much TV's have come down in price. You can't go wrong with Samsung.

Love this TV. Needed a bigger TV than my 32". Was going to purchase a 42" LG until the BB rep told me it was a piece of junk and that I'd be far happier with this TV than the LG. For only $40.00 more, I chose to give it a try. Happy I did. Picture quality is amazing. Sound through the TV isn't great, but I haven't seen one even in higher end 4K TV's that put out great sound through the internal speakers. Sounds great through my surround sound system though. I've always liked Samsung TV's, and even their less expensive models perform just as good or better than some brands higher end models.

Unfortunately most appliances these days last ten years at best--electronic, kitchen, laundry, etc. We bought this Samsung TV to replace a high-end Vizio smart TV that lasted only 5 years with light use. This Samsung was fairly easy to set up, and has worked well with a good picture so far. I hope it will last longer than our previous Vizio TV.

this is the maximum size tv we could fit in our bedroom. We got this one for a great price as it was open box. Was not sure it would compete well with our 55 in lg 4k, and while its not as easy to use the remote, it has a great picture.

Small house so didn't want a huge TV. This one has all the features we needed plus some and, it's a Samsung! Easy setup sequence. Not very heavy, but best to move it with two people. Cannot comment on the sound quality since we started right in with the Bose SOLO. So far am very satisfied with this TV.
