First flatscreen TV for us - great picture, easy to set up. Only downside is the wi-fi in the tv isn't strong enough to watch Netflix (or any streaming video) but I was told it was because of my internet and I just need a more powerful router (I don't have a cable or Uverse and just use the antena). Hooking up the computer via an HDMI cable solves that problem.

This purchase was for my mother. She wanted a smaller TV than what she had since she lives in a smaller apartment. This TV has all the bells and whistles needed. A Smart TV, perfect size and great pictures. Samsung has always been a favorite and so far this TV has not been a disappointment.

I was looking for another TV before they stopped producing them being user friendly. There getting to difficult to operate because they preform and have to many functions. I'm old school and prefer simple operation. For the size of my living room the 40" is perfect. I have a 5 series Samsung 40" TV that I bought from BB three years ago. It is still a good TV and we use it everyday, but it's refresh rate is only 60.But this new 6 series has the 120 motion refresh rate and I can really see the difference. The 6 series also has a feature called a" Wide Color Enhancer". The picture doesn't fade out if your setting more to the side instead of being right dead center in front of it. And the colors are so much brighter, crisper, sharper, and truer with this Color Enhancer. And it's still simple to use and tweek being also a smart TV. Leave it to Samsung, they know how to make electronics. I would have given it a full 5 stars but the sound quality on this model is still the same as on my 5 series. You have to use a sound bar. Great sound goes with a great picture. They had a 7 series that was just forty dollars more. It was slimmer, the picture had that same color enhancer, and the sound was superb. It had the new improved larger speakers. I wouldn't have needed a sound bar. But the stand was so ugly. The TV looked like it was sitting on a boomerang. I much prefer the simple black basic rectangle shaped stand. I have the same stand on my 5 series and I love it. I polish them with a car wax made for plastic and fiberglass and it makes the stand beautiful. And the rectangle stand fits the 40" TV perfectly. It's form and function together. The boomerang stand was just plain ugly. If the 7 series had the same rectangle stand as the 6 series did, I would have bought that one to because of the picture and speakers and just stuck it in a closet and saved it until my next TV goes out. I would have had a really nice spare without having to buy a sound bar. But for the review on the 6 series the one I did buy...I'm extremely pleased. I saved $150.00 off the original price and I'm really pleased with the picture quality. I differently got my moneys worth.

This TV is good to be used for cable tv. Pictures quality is good and sound quality is above average. but if you intend to use the smart features, then it gets painful. The smart feature takes an age to get started. You need to start the tv and wait for 3-4 mins before you can get the "Smart" feature up and running. After it is up, it works very well though. But 3-4 mins is too long a time to get started. Also, my xbox 360 would behave strange when connected to this tv. It goes black& white sometimes which never happened with any other TV that I have used.

This 40" tv is a great unit for our porch. With the shades down there is a great viewing experience. This "smart" tv gives access to all the latest shows and services. The set up was easy and convenient and picked up all the availabe channels. We expect to use this tv for years to come.

Purchased this TV on sale at a decent price.it has a good quality picture and the speakers sound pretty good . I like that it is a smart TV and the apps work well .Streams video well and without alot of delay quite responsive.

We bought this for our bedroom. Pros: Fantastic size 120 refresh rate Awesome picture Cons Smart Tv hub is a little slow after first clicking on it Base does not swivel It's an awesome tv. Very happy with it so far :)

This is the second Samsung TV that I have purchased for my house this year. I still do not have any complaints at all! This TV is easy to set up, it has beautiful picture quality, and it has easy step by step instructions for assembling the mount. I am still a happy shopper! =)

The picture on this TV is very good for the price and connecting wirelessly is easy and fast. Sound quality is good but not great. I use this TV in my man cave and it is a great added addition to the other TVs there.

This is my second Samsung Smart TV & I’ve found it to be very dependable. The picture is very clear & the color is very realistic. The only thing which I had read before I bought it is I find myself turning up the tv volume on some channels. This is why I rated it 4 stars. I would buy Samsung again if needed...

This was a replacement of an older model of the Samsung (1 1/2 years older). I was shocked at how much better the picture quality is, especially for high def images. Easy to set up, easy to use, and a great price!

Have previously purchased a Samsung 46" TV (6300 model) and have been very happy with picture quality & ease of use. Needed a 2nd set for MBR since old "tube TV" finally went. Did not need a lot of connections so the 6200 model served my purposes for $50 less than the 6300 model. Set-up was easy; just need to sync my Comcast remote!

Easy installation and setup; it took me probably about 10 minutes from unboxing to watching. Every person uses TV in a different way. In my case, I don't have cable TV nor use any of the online streaming services (Netflix, etc), with the exception of occasional Youtube videos. So the Smart portion of the TV is seldom used and I cannot rate how good/bad those features are. Youtube works well for me. I mostly use it to watch news and movies from my blu-ray, and I can tell the picture is really good, and the sound is, well..., TV sound quality (will be hooking up a home-theater soon). Also, I don't have anything else hooked to it, like game consoles, cable, etc. The control is easy to use and I like the feature to select my favorite channels for more efficient channel flipping... :) My living room is small, so the size is ideal to me. All in all it is an excellent TV that suits my needs, plus it had the right price for my budget.

After reading dozens of reviews of HDTV's, I chose this Samsung. I have not been disappointed. Installation was fairly easy once I got all the correct cables. (Installation would have been much easier had I not been connecting a combo VHS/DVD player - old technology connecting to new technology.) The TV picture is sharp and clear with good viewing angles. You will want to purchase a sound bar since the speakers don't cut it - and I'm not even that picky on sound quality. I purchased a relatively inexpensive sound bar which gives very adequate audio. Overall, this was an excellent Black Friday purchase.

This is really our first Smart TV replacing the old TV. Love the picture quality and the ease to set this up. Streams movies and series on Netflix and Amazon easily.

I needed a smaller HD TV for my den as I already have a 65" UHD Samsung in the living room. I like the 120 hz rate on this model and the fact that it was $100 off the regular price. It has a great picture.

Great picture quality, the extra money spent definitely was worth it for the 120 refresh rate. Action shots are smooth and it has not pixelated once. Smart TV functionality is Intuitive and easy to navigate.

Great picture and a lot of great features. Combines new and old hook-ups very well. Great user interface and I like the remote as well.

Replaced a great 7 year old Samsung with this. It was a 36" but the 40" fit perfectly in my cabinet because the size of the framing is way down now. Love the new UN406200. Very easy to set up and work the smart features. Picture is superior. Samsung is he best!

This TV is priced a little higher than other brands, but it's well worth the money because of the quality picture, sound and easy setup of additional features that is not offered with the other brands.
