This is my 1st HDTV! Wow, what a difference. I like the picture quality & sound quality even without the sound bar & subwoofer. But at times it freezes and has a difficult time changing between apps for a few seconds when it flickers & pixilated. But overall, this is just what I needed at a price point I was comfortable with. This serves as my main living room TV. I feel that buying a Samsung product almost insures good quality and Thus far that is what I've experienced. Good TV; great price. No regrets about this purchase. I recommend this highly.

I was looking to upgrade an old TV with something that I could also use to watch movies online. Samsung along with BestBuy gave me all the options I needed. The picture is amazing. The sound is great! The advantages of having apps and a web browser just sends it over the edge. This is a must have TV.

it is an excellent buy for a small home and for daily use with internet compatible devices. good resolution, good connectivity but doesn't support skype, which initially was mentioned in features.

This TV is pretty awesome as far as TVs go but I would say that the app store is fairly archaic. It also gives me trouble with updating at the worst possible time. I figured out a way to stop that but it took forever. I do wish it had better sound.

We purchased two Samsung tvs June 2016: a 60 inch and a 55 inch 4K. They were installed by the Geek Squad with expertise and customer care was exceptional. It was therefore any easy decision to make to purchase a 40 inch Samsung for our patio. The quality of this brand is fantastic. I would most certainly recommend the purchase of these products to anyone. In addition the helpfulness of the Geek Squad cannot be overestimated.
